Ramadhan Buffet @ Paya Serai Hilton PJ Review

It's Ramadhan time again and people usually seeking for restaurant with good food to break fast or "Buka Puasa". I will also look for a nice place to eat too although I am not "puasa-ing". So today I am introducing you Ramadhan Buffet at Paya Serai, Hilton Petaling Jaya.

Paya Serai @ Hilton Petaling Jaya - Popular for delicious and bountiful buffet spread, especially tailored for this spiritual month, the restaurant's bridgade of talented chefs led by Chef Noor Hisham will spoil you with choices from authentic local "kampung" delights and quintessential Malay Ramadhan dishes to Indian, Chinese cusine and hawker food. What's more, the first 100 guests turn up at Paya Serai for Ramadhan on 1 August enjoy complimentary Ramadhan Buffet!

Over 100 local as well as international delights were served @ Paya Serai. The buffet menu is on rotation everyday, therefore you will always have something new to try.

You can get scrumptious salads and appetizers like Buah Jeruk, Acar Rampai, kerabu Pucuk Ubi, kerabu Nangka, Taufu Sumbat, Popiah Basah, Otak-Otak and soups like Sup Ekor "Tongkat Ali" and Szechuan Seafood Soup.

Take your pick of salad ingredient and dip with a wide selection of dressing from sambal belacan to Italian dressing.

Here is the first area I always visit first. For fresh oysters and mussel + boiled tiger prawns~!

There is Japanese cuisine too, get your vege and prawn in Japanese Deep fried style.

Here's where I personally think that this is the most delicious food among all others, the freshly roasted goat @ Kambing Panggang. Piece by piece sliced and given to us. If you like mutton you will definitely like it. Satay chicken and satay daging were served at the same corner too.

For the main course, feast on local offerings such as Ayam Kandar, Rendang Mnang Daging, Fish Head Curry, Beef Rendang, Udang Berlada, Mutton Rogan Josh, Prawn Asam, Roasted Duck, Sweet & Sour Flower Crab, Portugese Baked Fish, Ayam Pongteh, Nasi Lemak Kukus among many more. There are various side dishes and accompaniments namely Lemang, Ketupat Palas, Serunding Daging, Kacang Botol, Masala Vada, Vegetable Platter, Assorted Dim Sum and much more.

A perfect ending to this hearty meal is plenty of mouth-watering desserts that you simply must leave some room for, such as Durian Serawa, Bubur pengat Pisang, Bubur Lambok, Buah Kurma, Mango Puding, Tapai Ubi, Pisang emas, Pulut Hitam and Apam balik with variety of fillings. Also available are cosmic selections of Malay Kuih, French pastries, ice creams, jellies and many more.

There is a "Drinks Corner" that includes Soymilk, Air Sirap Bandung, Sugarcane Juice, Barley water, Ice Kacang, Cendol, and of course, the must-have Teh Tarik.

Live Traditional Music @ Paya Serai

Ramadhan Bazaar buffet is available from 7pm to 10.30pm. On the first three days of Ramadhan, the buffet is priced attractively at RM79++ per adult and RM49++ for child below 12 years old.

Following weeks
RM129++/adult
Rm70++/child.

PS: You are advised to use public transport or visit Paya Serai earlier as the traffic around PJ Hilton might be heavy+jam and you don't want to starve yourself any longer. Take LRT is actually one of the good decision to have nice break fast moment.
