Malta or Milo ?

This morning 4 AM, my stomach wake me up. The turning inside my stomach makes me feel really bad... Diarrhea attack me since 4AM and I can't go back to sleep as the pounding pain is still inside of me even I ate some medicine. Therefore, I prefer to stay at living room to prepare for my second diarrhea as sometime when I keep walking in and out of the room sure I will cause disturbance to my roommate which can't have a nice nap during afternoon. Sitting in the living room without doing anything. Closing my eye and can't stop thinking of my next paper that I haven't finish study and try to ignore the pain. It is like just a while and the clock showed 7 AM and the sky getting brighter. After a few more war in the toilet then go back to sleep after feeling better. Waked up at 11 something then sleep back after eating porridge that was "da bao" by WeiXian. Thanks. Now I know how tired to be sick as I only wake up at 6 PM again and this is how I spend my half day

吃出明亮好眼睛!

一提到保護眼睛視力,大家都會聯想到維生素A。其實,還有很多的營養素也和眼睛發展、視力保健有密切關係,因此,請幫助孩子多多從不同飲食內容來均衡攝取這些營養素,讓孩子不但吃得健康,更能吃出好視力! 避免眼睛乾澀的 --- 維生素 A   維生素A是黏膜細胞分化的必須成分,黏液不夠的話,眼睛就會乾澀、疲勞、充血,因此維生素 A 或是它的前身 -- 胡蘿蔔素可以幫助預防眼睛乾澀不適,甚至夜盲症與乾眼症。維生素 A 的食物來源包括動物肝臟、蛋黃、牛奶及奶製品、黃綠色的蔬菜瓜果──如花椰菜、南瓜、紅蘿蔔、芒果等。如果吃魚肝油,需要注意適量原則,九歲以下的兒童需要量不超過 4200IU ,十歲到十五歲之間大約 4600IU 。對小朋友而言如果一天內攝取 18,500IU ,會引起中毒現象,例如頭暈嘔吐、胃痛、拉肚子喔。 視覺細胞的維繫功臣 --- 維生素 B 群   眼睛有不少的視覺神經細胞,因此維持神經系統健康的大功臣──維生素 B 群,也和視力息息相關。中國人烹調食物喜歡煎煮炒炸,很容易破壞怕高溫的維生素 B1 ,加上大部分的人喜歡吃精緻食物,米麥的胚芽、外殼精華成分都被丟棄掉了,減少維生素 B1 攝取機會。維生素 B2 、 B6 、菸鹼酸、 B12 一起攝取效果最佳,主要在動物肝臟、乳類、瘦肉、綠葉蔬菜、豆類、小麥胚芽、糙米或胚芽米、啤酒酵母中最多,以複方維他命攝取效果比單方好。 保護眼球健康的 --- 維生素 C   維生素 C 主要功能是在抗氧化,防止視網膜受到紫外線傷害、防止水晶體老化,增加眼睛裡面的細小血管韌性、修護細胞,幫助增進眼球健康。基本上人體無法儲存維生素 C ,必須要每天從食物攝取,在深綠色及黃紅色蔬果裡面最多,還有番石榴、蕃茄、草莓、奇異果、葡萄柚等水果當中也很多,所以不愛吃水果的人要試著改變習慣。盡量勿服用單方的維生素 C 來補充,免得長期下來導致草酸或尿酸結石。   這三類對於眼睛健康相當重要的營養成分──維生素A、維生素B群、維生素C,應能在平日飲食中就可以足夠地的供應了,因此,爸媽只要注重孩子飲食種類的均衡,不要吃太多精緻與加工食物,再配合正常作息與用眼習慣,就能夠擁有健康明亮的雙眼喔! Today had my first subject - Interpersonal Communication (IPC) I didn't did it well but I'm sure I wont take the sub-paper ;p Thanks Ms. Shiela and Catherine for their guidance and "blessing". If you got a target but still can't reach it "Do the best but expect the least" I'm sure this thought will make you feel a LOT better and You will be happier, wahaha! Hmm, better start prepare for the next three exam papers. One more day to challenge exam

There is only 33 hours left to have my first exam paper, Interpersonal Communication (IPC). Minus 8 hours of sleep it is 25 hours left. Minus 12 hours for eating breakfast, lunch, dinner and ... play. Left 12 hours! Haha, this it the total time left for me to study this subject. Sigh, I'm such a playful and lazy bug which prefer to write a blog than study my IPC. ------------------------------------- I'm going to graduate soon and still have no clues on what kind of job should I choose. There were so many people going for the interviews these day. Hmm, what can a biotechnologist do? Microbiologist,? Focus on fermentation works? Or produce biological-control fertilizer? It is still a "?" for me to choose which kind of job I prefer. All I can do is try hard for my LAST final exam. After the exam finish. Sure I will find the answer. Appreciate what you have now every moment! -------------------------------------------------------- 我和一位朋友傾談,他說雖然有兩份工作,而每月的收入卻非常低,但他已很高興了。我很奇怪他還可以那麼開心,因為他的收入微薄,要節衣縮食才可以供養他年邁的父母、岳父母,太太,兩個女兒,還有一般家庭的各項開支。 他解釋說,那是因為數年前他在印度目睹一件事件的啟發。當時他因為一次重大的挫折、心情低落,所以到印度散心。他說他親眼看到一個印度婦人,用刀將她的兒子的右手切下來。那婦人無助的眼神,以及四歲稚童痛苦的呻吟,至今仍令他心頭作痛難以釋懷。 你可能會問: 為什麼那母親要這樣做?是否她的小孩太頑皮,或是他的手受到感染?都不是,原來只是為了行乞! 那絕望的母親特意把孩子弄成傷殘,只是為了使他可以在街上行乞。 我的朋友嚇呆了,他把他吃到一半的麵包放下,隨即有五六個小孩湧至,爭食這片佈滿沙石的麵包,就如面對飢餓時的自然反應。他對這情景很吃驚,他要導遊開車把他送到最近的麵包店,他去到其中兩家,把所有的麵包都買下來,麵包店的老闆很愕然,不過還是願意把所有都賣給他。他花了不足一百元,就買到約四百塊麵包( 即每塊少於 25仙 ),又用了一百元買一些日用品。 於是,他坐在一部載滿麵包的貨車往街上去,當他分發麵包和日用品給那些大部 份是傷殘的兒童時,他們都報以歡喜和鞠躬,就是這樣,他在生命中第一次想到人們怎麼可以為一片價值不足25仙的麵包而那麼感動。 他開始對自己說,他是多麼的幸運:他有個完整的身軀,有一份工作,有個家庭,有機會抱怨食品的好與壞,有機會穿衣服,有機會擁有很多這些人沒有的東西。 現在,我開始想到和感受到:我的生命是否真的那麼差?也許吧? 但想到這故事,我就覺得不是那麼慘。你呢? 或者下一次你覺得自己的生命很差的時候,想想那個因為行乞失去了一隻手的小孩吧! 『滿足感』 不是來自去滿足於你想要的,而是能感受到: 你所擁有的,已是那麼足夠 。加油!

LRT No. 130

Today went to KLCC PC fair to buy some stuff that are going to be used soon. Including External Harddisk, Printer's cartridge, Micro SD Card and spare Rechargeable Battery for my digital camera. Why do I start with a title of "LRT No. 130"? You will know later ;] Going out around 1 PM and at the same time Jackson want to go "Da Bao" near LRT there. So we went out together. The LRT that I took was decorated with KFC's Skin. Full of burgers here and there. And yes the number of this train is 130. I arrived at KLCC at 1:30 PM. What a coincidence. Okay, start searching for the stuff I listed out. What I first saw was the hall for laptops buyer. So I would just skipped the first hall by just walking through and use my half-blinded eye to see if there is any good looking model. Why half-blinded? Cause I lost my glasses and haven't get a new one... Plus, I hate wear glasses. It is troublesome! The second hall was for sound system lover where the bass and music

Do you recognize who is she? What songs is she singing? What are the title and the lyric? I have no clue on how to search for its info as I don't understand Japanese. A rushing day

On 11A.M., after having the mid-term test for "Fermentation" subject. Feel tired but relaxed as another small test passed. After eating the delicious Chicken Rice, feel sleepy but can't rest. Started doing the group report, combining everyparts from different people. Sometimes it is hard to read and reorganize others' people work. But not too hard this time ;p Resting a while by listening and learning how to sing "Build to Last" + "Love Song" Then continued and lastly finished the group report. Feel tired, go and take a nap Zzzz.... It is 5 something already, reluctant to wake up but I must! Why? To finish another lab report which is individual this time. Nap >> Sleep

Yesterday after I ate my dinner. I decided to take a nap after resting for a period of time. There it goes my nap. I always want to set the alarm to wake me up but it seems like my "sub-conscious" told me not to. (Haha, I'm finding a reasonable excuse~) As a result, I suddenly wake up at 11 P.M. and I wonder what can I do waking up in the middle of the night? So....I decided to sleep until tomorrow morning. And there it is, I had a dream, which I long time didn't have already. Still wondering what message that the dream want to tell me Today, wake up at 7 something by the sun-light passing through the window. And I just decided to take a bath as it was a hot day for me. Moreover, I had already slept for more than ten hours~! The ten hours should be really enough to cure my "lazy" mind ;p I appreciate that I was allowed to sleep for a long time and I feel refreshed ;p Now I still wondering what is my dream about. Hmm... I think I better do my lab report S , g
