Cutest Sleeping Puppies I've Ever Seen and photographed If you love looking at something cute and like dog or puppies too, this photo post is for you. I took some photos of these puppies when I first saw them resting under a huge lorry. They making that cute little sound and I was worry about the lorry. Thankfully there were kind human who built a dog house for them and now relocated them to somewhere safer. They are now much bigger but I am glad I went to shoot some photos when the puppies were still very young with their eyes closed, wanting more milk from dog mommy or sleeping under the shade.  For now, enjoy the photos. I've uploaded to Shutterstock and hopefully can get approval soon. Let me know if you are interested in getting them printed in large size to decorate your room or space at home. Or else, wait till Shutterstock approve it for commercial usage. Quick updates on the puppies, total two are adopted and now left all female puppies for adoption. I was quite surp

Official Nikon D780 Unboxing, Comparison with Nikon D750 and Nikon Z7 Physical Appearance #田七摄影

Image
Here's a quick unboxing video of #NikonD780 and briefly compare with #NikonD750 and #NikonZ7 in terms of physical appearance & difference. I love the AF-3D focusing on DSLR (D750) that is missing in Z series mirrorless camera. Hence it is worth a try to check out the #D780 . The D780 has a major upgrade in hybrid focusing system especially if you plan to shoot video using the brand new Nikon DSLR. D780 could be the first DSLR that can record a smooth video if compared with the ancestors. Full video on my YouTube Channel: https://youtu.be/1sb0ddeY2y4

This is also the Nikon Service Center in Bukit Bintang, KL. Feel free to check out this place photographers~ As a Nikon photographer, it was very new to me to use my camera for videography. Hence it was good to learn from other Nikon users who has been using Nikon camera to do videography. It was a beginner class about videography hence I've learned most of the knowledge that Chin Siang has shared. However, he has taught me the proper work flow for videography and reminded me some of the basic theories that I've

[Photowalk] Thaipusam 2016 @ Batu Caves Malaysia

Image
[Photowalk] Thaipusam Festival at Batu Caves Malaysia 2016 Last year was my first time to pay a visit to Batu Caves for Thaipusam Festival thanks to Robin Wong and friends. This year, I went to Batu Caves again with Raymond and girlfriend since this will be her first time seeing the festival in real time. This time we drove and parked our car near one of the petrol station in Batu Caves area. Reached around 6.31 am  and started shooting around the river since the preparation for Thaipusam started there. Noted they have renovated the shower area with proper marble stone but kinda block views for photographers. When compared to last year Thaipusam Festival, I find that less crowded this time. Maybe because I came at a different timing and it was easier to climb uphill to reach the top too. Instead of having multiple post about Thaipusam, I am going to finalize the photos and frame them in Instagram square size. Hope you like the Thaipusam photos that I captured at Batu Ca

6 Primary Features of Nikon D5

Image
6 Primary Features of Nikon D5 Yesterday Nikon has announced the new  Nikon D5 , Nikon KeyMission 360 and SnapBridge . As a user of Nikon camera (currently still using D800), I shall share with you some of the main features of the Nikon D5. Based on what I've read, the D5 has so much more autofocus points now with cross-type sensors. I guess that means it can focus more accurately and suitable for continuous shots like sport car, motor racing, gymnastic, football and some other extreme sport. From what I've read, it seems like Nikon D5 is more suitable for professional photographers who love to shoot sports and some low light photography especially in wild-life category.  Since my ideal new camera is to go as lighter and smaller as it can, yet not neglecting the quality of images, I don't think that I would carry this 1.4kg camera around especially when I am travelling. Another reason not to go for this yet, the Nikon D5 is selling at USD $6,500 for the body

Nikon Coolpix S33 Weatherproof Camera Review @ Sunway Lagoon

Image
Up-Close-and-personal experience with Nikon Coolpix S33 at Sunway Lagoon Theme Park Usually all the events that I've attended need to have casual outfit or formal outfit for a grand event. But this time I was in my beach wear for Nikon Malaysia's latest products hands-on at Sunway Lagoon Theme Park.  Cameras like Nikon D5500 DSLR, Nikon 1 J5, Coolpix P900 and Coolpix S33 were the products for us to try out the other day. I didn't manage to try out most of them since there were limited units and no memory cards in it. The main cast of the day was Nikon Coolpix S33 - a waterproof, shockproof, cold-resistant and dustproof camera that is suitable for beginner who want to take photos easily in their outdoor activities (especially underwater). I would like to share some photos taken using Nikon Coolpix S33 compact camera and my opinion after using it.

Photowalk to Thaipusam 2015 Batu Caves [Part 2]: 272 steps to the top

Photowalk to Thaipusam 2015 Batu Caves [Part 2]: Kid's gorgeous big eyes If you haven't read my first post about Thaipusam @ Batu Caves 2015 , go read it now as these photo stories are connected. To get to the top of Batu Caves, everyone need to queue up in the jam-packed crowd and trying not to fall down or being suffocated (especially kids who join the queue). I believe we've spent at least an hour in the crowd just to reach the starting of the stairs. Apparently there are three rows of queue but only two passage available to go up. Therefore some of them shouted and complain as there were a few devotees who can't stand it and pass out. That was the time people around get even angrier and shout out even louder. That was the time the queue started to move a little bit faster. Since we were stuck among packed crowd, there was nothing much to shoot as your eye view will be about people's head and it was hard to switch lenses. This time I use mainly the 8 m

Photowalk to Thaipusam 2015 Batu Caves [Part 1]: Sit Female Coach for the first time

Image
Thaipusam 2015 Batu Caves Malaysia celebrate Thaipusam every year and it is always a grand festival in Batu Caves. Honestly, we ourselves as a Malaysian should go there at least once in a lifetime because tourist from oversea came all the way for this!! Since I am staying not that far from Batu Caves, so why shouldn't I go? That's what I was thinking when Robin and friend asked if I wanna join the photowalk. Although it wasn't comfortable when you were stuck between the mountain of people, it was a great experience for me to understand more about Thaipusam and the culture in a very close distance. We meet at KTM Tasik Selatan as early as 3am to avoid crowd and KTM service was available specially for Thaipusam season. The counter was closed and the gate was open, so we just went in the station without paying tickets for the first time. That was our first time sitting in the KTM female coach without worry of being starred or chased away by the ladies haha.

Nikon D750 & Coolpix S6900 Selfie Camera Malaysia Launch with Precious

Image
Nikin D750 and Nikon Coolpix S6900 Selfie Camera launched in Malaysia Exactly one month ago, Nikon Malaysia has finally launched their latest smallest and lightest Full Frame DSLR Nikon D750 and selfie compact camera Nikon Coolpix S6900 . As a user of Nikon D800, I've always hoping that Nikon can come out with something lighter yet can deliver optimum quality photos and high performance. I've getting tired of carrying heavy DSLR and camera lenses around and glad that D750 is now in the market. The major difference between D750 and D800 is of course the lighter weight and tiltable screen. Lesser MegaPixels but more reason for me to shoot RAW photo with D750. Oh  yeah, D750 has built in WiFi too for easy posting to social channels.  Now let's check out what are the main features of Nikon D750 would ya? Continue read:

My New Cam Nikon D800 First Time-lapse Video. Why not D600?

Image
Nikon D800 with my always cheerful Kido Daruma Early in October 2012, I went to YL Camera @ Jaya 33 after knowing that the brand new Nikon D600 is available there. Before I reach there, Alvin (from YL Camera) message me that there is a second-hand Nikon D800 available and is in very good condition =) That made me wonder at first as I need to do a quick decision. Nikon D600 vs D800 I've read several DSLR camera reviews on the internet and the article that helped me made my decision  would be from NPhotoMag.com . It made me easier to decide which DSLR to go for in just one day. D600 is a more affordable full-frame DSLR when compared with D800. D600's weight is lighter too; However what makes me go for D800 is because of its 1/8000sec shutter speed, 1/250sec flash sync speed. These are the main reasons why I go for D800 as I don't mind carry a heavier camera that can help me produce a better image quality photos with more flexibility. Of course, the

GD&TOP + SEUNGRI @ Singapore Grand Prix 2011 [PHOTOS]

Still remember me and Akiraceo went to Singapore F1 Grand Prix 2011 together? We had awesome fun there including an exclusive garage walk and enjoyed concert from Korean Popstar like Seungri , GD&TOP , not forgetting the powerful vocal Linkin Park +++ Feel free to read my Singapore F1 Grand Prix Journey here: Garage Walk @ Singapore F1 Grand Prix & PROTON Lifestyle Event @ 1Altitude Proton/Lotus-Renault GP Showcase @ Singapore F1, Clarke Quay Today I will only share photos taken during Seungri and GD&TOP concert photos. Gonna thanks Nikon for the zoom lens that helped me capture GDragon , Top and Seungri's performance far from stage. All photos above was taken using Nikon AF-S VR - NIKKOR 70-200mm 1:2.8G Zoom Lens . It is quite heavy but a very nice lens to have! Pros and Cons: Nikon AF-S VR - NIKKOR 70-200mm 1:2.8G can provide really sharp images and able to create beautiful bokeh because of its VR [Vibration Reduction] features. Although it is heavy
