Today was Wesak Day AND also holiday, hence I tag along with friends to Sau Seng Lum Exhibition Centre 修成林展览中心 in Puchong to pray and was surprised that there was a maze that teach you life lessons. Not sure who design it but it definitely looks different if compared with conventional kind of temple. Interestingly, it looks like a temple but named as SSL Exhibition Centre instead. This place was crowded with people when comes to noon and I am glad we went there in the morning. 


Sau Seng Lum Puchong Exhibition Centre established in 2003 is an award winning cultural education centre listed in The Malaysia Book of Records as “The Largest Ceramic Arhat Statues Collection with 500 Arhats”. On top of that, the exhibition centre has been declared by the Malaysia Board of Tourism as a “Tourist Attraction” in Malaysia. The two storey centre has seven exhibition halls. The Grand Hall at ground floor houses the Vairocana Buddha while the 500 Arhats exhibition is situated on first floor.

Apparently the real name for this place is called Sau Seng Lum Puchong Exhibition Centre. There wasn't any josticks lighted in the hall but you can pray to god with flowers and fruits. I was there to do lamp offering to Buddha for praying and wishing purpose.


There is also a souvenir shop, Mani wheels, Wishing Pond and an open-air cafeteria with a lake view for visitors to relax and enjoy delicious delicacies. Its quiet environment creates a complete harmonized, meditative ambience to the exhibition centre. This centre also has a spacious international conference room, suitable for spiritual seminars, meditation or camping etc. In recent years, this centre has become the ideal place for Buddhist Associations across Malaysia to organize activities such as meditation, camping, and spiritual seminars.

Inside the hall you can pray and do Buddha Bathing. Gotta say that place is really huge and you definitely need to spend quite some time to explore this huge place.

A view of the largest Buddha statue in the main hall. There was a special praying session in the morning and I saw people been doing Sutra Recitation and Repentance.

A grandma with her cute grandchild spinning this huge....what do I call it? They were cute doing this together hence I capture down their moments =) I wish I could share some photos of the 500 Arhats halls but photography were not allowed in these room. So yeah, you will need to visit there to check it out yourself.

Sau Seng Lum Exhibition Centre 修成林展览中心 is located right beside a huge lake hence you can see a beautiful scenery there.

1600 Pandas Flash Mob @ Perbadanan Putrajaya, Malaysia #1600Pandas

1600 Pandas @ Perbadanan Putrajaya Just came back from Putrajaya after paying a visit to the 1600 Pandas exhibited at Perbadanan Putrajaya . The pandas flash mob were supposed to last for two hours but around 11am++ the pandas were being kept back to the rack due to drizzling at the venue. Anyhow, I manage to get some photos for you guys (and myself) haha. I love this location because the pandas were being placed on the carpet grass right in front of the beautiful buildings in Putrajaya. Too bad that the weather wasn't sunny and the carpet grass became muddy after rain. Luckily I wore my Havaianas slipper or else I am in deep shit hahaha. Malaysia local celebrities Jeffrey Cheng 庄惟翔 and  TJ 东于哲 were spotted at Perbadanan Putrajaya doing photoshoot and quick interview with the media. Fun fun fun! After the  Tea-se Session with David DeCandia at Coffee Bean , both me and Jennifer went to the dog park in Desa ParkCity for a 1-on-1 photography workshop. I am glad that there are people who wanna learn photography from me and I am able to give guidance on this favourite topic. I am not graduate from Art School but reading photography magazines and practice everyday can definitely helps improve your photography skill. Desa ParkCity has a huge park and this is one of the place where you can bring your dog hang out here and to meet new friends.
