Xiaomi Mi 3 selling at RM889 RM769 in Malaysia

Without much introduction needed, XiaoMi has been discussed among people especially my friends who said it was sold out in Singapore within minutes. If you haven't know this , Xiaomi Mi 3 will be selling in Malaysia at RM889 only staring 20 May RM769 now. Bad news is only 4,000 unit will be made available during the launch. I'm gonna share some tips to help you secure one of the limited unit:

The brand new Xiaomi Mi3 will be selling in Malaysia only through online website - www.mi.com/my. There won't be any physical store selling this but you may collect from the office if delivery is not offered. *most probably delivery will be included*

So in order to be 1 out of thousand people who get the brand new Xiaomi Mi3 in Malaysia, first you need to do these:

  1. Register a Xiaomi account at http://account.xiaomi.com/
  2. Register a Paypal account at www.paypal.com since only online purchase is made available. Make sure you've validate your account with Credit/Debit card details. You can still use Credit Card to pay but you will be slower in filling the form instead of just need to login validated PayPal account.
  3. Follow XiaoMi Malaysia Facebook update closely on the launching details. Best if you tick 'Get Notifications' for the latest news update on their recent product.
  4. Xiaomi will start selling it every Tuesday 12PM so I guess the best way is to camp on their website 5-10 minutes before the actual time. Who knows your clock is slower/ they release it before 12pm?? This is to ensure you that you won't miss the 'start selling' time slot.
  5. Auto-complete your delivery information. Use Google Chrome as your browser and use their autofill function. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP as you will only secure your Xiaomi after 'Place Order', not 'Add to cart'.
  6. Login and remember to click "Stay Signed In" as early as few hours or even day before the weekly launch date on  every Tuesday 12pm. It seems like a lot people facing login error or even bounced out from their account while doing the purchase and can't checkout. So yeah, login early
