Penmerah, Eyriqazz, CikEpal, CipotRedz, NisaKay, Joeyy, Cindy and YuyuZulaikha (missing somewhere) travel together for Naturally Langkawi Bloggers FAM Trip 2013
Courtesy of Lembaga Pembanguan Langkawi (LADA), me and a few familiar blogger buddies were invited for Naturally Langkawi Bloggers FAM Trip 2013 to explore the beautiful attractions in Pulau Langkawi. The overall trip was fun but really packed that the first day when we arrived we don't even have time to check in the hotel. This explain why I never style my hair and wear contact lens on first day. Feeling super hot because wearing the long jeans travelling under the hot sun =(

1. Underwater World Langkawi

This is the largest aquarium in Asia with more than 3,000 marine and freshwater organisms. I saw sharks, penguins, sting rays, jelly fish and many more animals in one same place. Must spend your time wisely on this as you will be amazed by the animals here. Especially the curious cute Marmoset.

You can take this exhilarating ride across the forest canopy and up the escarpment to Mount Machincang's summit at 713m. The 2km journey is one of the world's steepest and at the peek, enjoy the superb views of the archipelago and Southern Thailand.

I am glad we were able to catch up with the weather as if the wind too strong or raining you won't be allow to go uphill with the cable cars. Once you've reach the top you will able to enjoy the cool breeze and awesome view of the Langkawi Island. Sometimes you will see clouds passing by you at the top of the mountain!

I thought I could step on this skybridge but seems like need to wait for another 6 months of maintenance work
Next time, I am gonna conquer this place!!

Petronas Quay - A marina where people park their boats at this little harbour

3. Petronas Quay

We made a quick stop at the Petronas Quay to enjoy the view of Marina from Petronas Petrol Station. You may take some beautiful photos of this place with a pretty model hahaha. Too bad we can't have direct access to the boat it self.

This is a good place to stop by so you can buy mineral waters/snack at the petrol station.

 4. Laksa Ikan Sekoq

I highly recommend this place if you love to dine just at the beach side enjoy the sea. You can witness airplanes flying off/landing behind at the airport too. Definitely a good stop to enjoy a bowl of Laksa with fish, Ice-Kacang, coconut drink together with a beautiful sunset.

The painting will look different when using different coffee (eg. Fresh brew coffee vs Instant Mix coffee).

6. Eagle Square/ Dataran Lang

Another good place to visit during sunset as you can enjoy the breeze and sunset at one same place. A busy photography spot for tourist.

 7. Langkapuri Inn, Pantai Cenang

The place where we stay for 3 days 2 nights. It's is a very simple apartment room that fit two person. Got air conditioner, water heater, soap dispenser (I guess), TV, 2 bottle of mineral waters and balcony for garden view room. I was staying at the room 316 and it was okay. Clean enough to stay overnight, just that it would be great if got kettle to boil water and a phone to call for room service as well. Or else, what for if they give us Instant Mix Coffee and cup but no kettle to boil hot water right? Noticed that the water pressure decreased on day 2 and luckily I had enough water to take bath and brush my teeth!

Anyhow, it is located just by the Cenang beach so you can easily access the beach for sun tanning and enjoy the sunset. Try find for the "Free Wifi" or Yellow Cafe signboard to spot this Langkapuri Inn.

Location: Cenang Beach, Langkawi 07000, Malaysia

Beautiful Sunset @ Cenang Beach captured on Day 3
Since we arrived and check-in hotel at night, we missed the sunset on day 1. (Above photo was captured on Day 3) We didn't manage to go out shopping nearby as well since it was raining and we were really tired (thanks to the packed trip arrangement that the PR did =.=")

Feeling tired like a sleeping seal

On a side note, I would like to share that the PR could have do MUCH better in arranging the itinerary, food and transport for us. We bloggers don't need to take note by writing everything down EVERYTHING as we can snap photos and record video to take important notes. When we using our mobile phones, we were not only chatting with friends using it but also doing social media update on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter to promote the places that we've visited. If you asked why bloggers like to take so many photos especially group photos, I guess this is your first time handling bloggers.

One hour is never enough to visit a place and truly discover + explore its unique attraction. Just imagine we were brought to a place and were told, "Okay you have 10 minutes to explore this place because we need to go to another place". Why would one pack so many thing in one day? This could be a more relaxing trip if you can increase the day we stay in Langkawi or skip certain places.

And yeah, I don't mind driving a car in Langkawi but it is too much if you expect me to drive a van the next day. Not that I am working for the PR at first hand. I was really surprised when you guys asked who can drive when we just reach Langkawi airport...

However, I am glad that there's still certain places that made me feel happy to be at and that relieve the stress I've been through (eg. beautiful sunset at Cenang Beach and Tropical Charters Sunset Cruise). I understand that you want to maximize the "usage" and influence of bloggers, but do understand that we are human too.

I am promoting Langkawi not because you told us to, but I am sharing it because it is really worth sharing for travel lovers around the world. Oh ya, stop blaming on others when everyone know it is your fault. Your doing so after that will only make it look even worst...

Okie, I feel better after letting it out. Stay tune for my Day 2 travel post visiting other beautiful places in Pulau Langkawi.
