Good news guys!! 6th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2014 will be back in Malaysia and I must share this event with you guys as I will try my best to attend both morning and night hot air balloon take flight moments and do a better video coverage this time!! We’ve got some exciting news to share with you! Malaysia will once again host The Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta for four consecutive days from the 27th – 30th March 2014!

An event that is not to be missed, 2014’s fiesta is the sixth installment of the internationally recognized hot air balloon fiesta, featuring the attendance of more than 20 hot air balloons all over the world, including at least 5 special shaped hot air balloons!

The annual Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is back and I was there pretty early to get tethered hot air balloon rides ticket and to witness the colorful balloons take off one by one. Admission is free! Come and experience a fresh view of the skies by going on the tethered hot air balloon rides or coast the stunning Putrajaya skyline in a helicopter joy ride. For those who search for a bit of adventure, the Mountain Dew Extreme Zone boasts an array of outdoor fun including water zorbing and rock climbing. Food and beverage outlets aplenty, be sure to grab a meal at KFC outlets at the fiesta and remember to keep yourself hydrated.

Younger kids will not miss out on the fun in the sun as they wait for the hot air balloons to take flight – the kids’ play area is back this year and offers a variety of amusement rides, coloring contests, arts & crafts and many more.

[NEW] The Picnic Area
The Picnic Area is 2014’s latest addition to the Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta’s list of exciting activities. A few meters away from the Blue Zone – the balloon launching field, and adjacent to the lively Mountain Dew Extreme Zone, lies an intimate grassy area with a stunning view of the Putrajaya lake. This year, the Fiesta team has decided to open up a new experience that all visitors may enjoy.

The ultimate way to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, what better way to enjoy your weekends than by relaxing at the Picnic Area, entertained by the smooth sounds of a three-piece band that will be accompanying the picnic F&B outlets.

Deck out in your best picnic outfits, bring a yarn basket filled with yummy snacks, or opt to purchase food from the tantalizing breakfast menu whilst stretching out on checkered picnic mats, all the while enjoying the beautiful skyline of hot air balloons drifting by.

Acknowledging those eager visitors of the Fiesta who arrive early but with empty stomachs, the Fiesta organizers are introducing an available for pre-order breakfast set called the ‘Balloon & Breakfast’.

Balloon & Breakfast sets will only be available bright and early from 6.30 a.m. until 10 a.m. and features a two of a kind set menu of your choice, inclusive of a signature brewed coffee. (Did we mention free refills for brewed coffee?) The Picnic Area will then continue serving signature made-to-order meals from a live kitchen from 10.00am – 7 p.m.

1600 Pandas Flash Mob @ Perbadanan Putrajaya, Malaysia #1600Pandas

1600 Pandas @ Perbadanan Putrajaya Just came back from Putrajaya after paying a visit to the 1600 Pandas exhibited at Perbadanan Putrajaya . The pandas flash mob were supposed to last for two hours but around 11am++ the pandas were being kept back to the rack due to drizzling at the venue. Anyhow, I manage to get some photos for you guys (and myself) haha. I love this location because the pandas were being placed on the carpet grass right in front of the beautiful buildings in Putrajaya. Too bad that the weather wasn't sunny and the carpet grass became muddy after rain. Luckily I wore my Havaianas slipper or else I am in deep shit hahaha. Malaysia local celebrities Jeffrey Cheng 庄惟翔 and  TJ 东于哲 were spotted at Perbadanan Putrajaya doing photoshoot and quick interview with the media. Fun fun fun! After the  Tea-se Session with David DeCandia at Coffee Bean , both me and Jennifer went to the dog park in Desa ParkCity for a 1-on-1 photography workshop. I am glad that there are people who wanna learn photography from me and I am able to give guidance on this favourite topic. I am not graduate from Art School but reading photography magazines and practice everyday can definitely helps improve your photography skill. Desa ParkCity has a huge park and this is one of the place where you can bring your dog hang out here and to meet new friends.
