15 Things To Do In Farm In The City 城の农场 | Seri Kembangan, Malaysia

Farm In The City 城の农场 is a place suitable for everyone especially family with kids as you get to have close interaction with the animals by feeding them and patting them at the same time. I've visited this petting zoo two years ago so what I've seen might be different from what you gonna see there. I am guessing you might able to see even more animals than I did last time. Anyway, below are some of the things you can do in Farm in the City. From feeding the fishes, birds, tortoise to hugging the rabbits and see the parrots doing tricks in front of you and your kids. During my visit, we saw quite a lot exotic animals too, I remember I saw a white crow and the cute Dik Dik that looks cute and smart.

If you have MyKad, the ticket price to enter Farm In The City is RM32 and RM27 per adult and child below 12 years old respectively. (updated on Dec 2015)

 1. Feeding the tortoise vegetables

The first thing that you can see is the tortoise area where you enter to the close area where you see huge tortoise walking around slowly. They will walk towards you if they sensed you got food and vegetables. After two years I believe they are well fed and grow even bigger already.

3. Bird Aviary - Kids will enjoy feeding the birds that flying to you

One of my favourite spot in Farm In The City is this Bird Aviary as you get to feed the birds that flying around. Do note that some of their claws are kinda sharp (especially bigger birds) so you might feel pain at first place. After you get used to it you will enjoy it even more. You can also feed the ducks near the pond area. They have peacocks too but they don't like to show off their beautiful wings if they don't find you attractive hahaha

5. Feed the lonely cow after the vegetable farm

There is actually a black cow deep inside after the vegetable farm. I hope he is not alone anymore but he is kinda gentle as I get to pat his back. Check out the funny and cute face of this cow. There were a few ostrich behind that area but I didn't get to take the photos because they look 'botak' with less feather on it.

The fennec fox or fennec is a small nocturnal fox found in the Sahara of North Africa. Its most distinctive feature is its unusually large ears, which also serve to dissipate heat. I only saw it when the zoo keeper cleaning their home and refill the food. Looks kinda mysterious

Actually there are much more animals that you can spot at Farm In The City. It won't be surprising anymore if I show to you each and every animal to you right?? Remember to go and say hi to the owl in the bird aviary ya. His head can move according to your movement, really cute one!! If you wondering what do people usually do in there, just search #FarmInTheCity on your Instagram for the latest photos. That will show you the recent photos inside Farm In The City 城の农场.

During my visit, Farm In The City is mostly covered with trees hence it is still okay to walk around during the afternoon. If you need water and some food, just go to the canteen right beside the entrance to purchase your necessity. Remember, don't simply throw rubbish until you found a rubbish bin ya. There are basin for you to wash your hands every time you've pet the animal.

There will be animal show at different time-slots so make sure you check out their schedule so you won't miss it. You can have Pony Ride too.

Things to improve in Farm In The City 城の农场
Since it is a petting zoo, most of the animals are being touch by us. Hence it is important to keep the zoo clean for both the animals and the visitors. I saw some of the rabbits and ostrich having skin disease and I hope they have proper treatment instead of being ignored in the cage.

I brought back a lovely girl that day. Just kidding hahaha

Paying a visit to Farm In The City is a great opportunity for you to hangout with your kids
