I heard about Ally Lew through a friend of mine and here's a little posting to support Ally's music album launch. Looking at her talent and big passion on music, I feel like wanna do something to help our local talented music artist =) ALLY LEW Album Launch Party will be held at SS2 Mall, Kakiseni Freespace this coming Saturday (Oct 25, 7pm) so don't miss it!! With just RM30 you can enjoy live music from Ally Lew herself AND a complimentary album.

Ally Lew (Huey Wen) - Seremban girl who share the love through music


"I am Ally (Huey wen), and I came from a small town in Malaysia, called Seremban. Music has always been the core of my life. As time passes, I can clearly know what music is to me. It is a space, a timeless space, where I can connect with my inner self to the outer world, it is a bridge for me to cross over , to create love and trust, to feel our deepest joys and pains, and to be connected at the deepest level with the people around me. My heroes that shaped my musical directions are Joni Mitchell, Glen Hansard, Bob Dylan and John Mayer.
I am always striving to maximise the positive impact of music and therefore created Play It Forward Malaysia, where musicians and artists come together to exchange valuable experiences and to create maximum positive social value. You can see our past projects here: Play It Forward
As for my highlights of my personal musical journey, I have managed to raise funding for the making of my music album, by leveraging a crowdfunding platform, Indiegogo Ally Project. 1600 Pandas Flash Mob @ Perbadanan Putrajaya, Malaysia #1600Pandas

1600 Pandas @ Perbadanan Putrajaya Just came back from Putrajaya after paying a visit to the 1600 Pandas exhibited at Perbadanan Putrajaya . The pandas flash mob were supposed to last for two hours but around 11am++ the pandas were being kept back to the rack due to drizzling at the venue. Anyhow, I manage to get some photos for you guys (and myself) haha. I love this location because the pandas were being placed on the carpet grass right in front of the beautiful buildings in Putrajaya. Too bad that the weather wasn't sunny and the carpet grass became muddy after rain. Luckily I wore my Havaianas slipper or else I am in deep shit hahaha. Malaysia local celebrities Jeffrey Cheng 庄惟翔 and  TJ 东于哲 were spotted at Perbadanan Putrajaya doing photoshoot and quick interview with the media. Fun fun fun! After the  Tea-se Session with David DeCandia at Coffee Bean , both me and Jennifer went to the dog park in Desa ParkCity for a 1-on-1 photography workshop. I am glad that there are people who wanna learn photography from me and I am able to give guidance on this favourite topic. I am not graduate from Art School but reading photography magazines and practice everyday can definitely helps improve your photography skill. Desa ParkCity has a huge park and this is one of the place where you can bring your dog hang out here and to meet new friends.
