My Photo featured in "Menara KL Towering Excellence"

MENARA KL TOWERING EXCELLENCE
"Menara KL, Towering Excellence" is a book which talk about the KL Tower, the highest tower in Southeast Asia, highlighting the unique and historical aspects of its construction. This 254-page book, “Menara KL, Towering Excellence”, was launched by KL Tower Chairman, Datuk Othman Abdul in early March 2014. It was aimed at supporting the efforts of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture to promote interesting places in the country in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year (VMY 2014).

The success and achievements of the KL Tower and international events carried out have been compiled into a book of memoirs which also informs the public the idea behind it and the history of its construction. The book is selling at RM120 and can be bought at all major bookstores.

The reason I share about this is because one of my KL Tower photos is featured in this book!! Let's check it out! *bangga*








My photo featured in "Menara KL Towering Excellence"
Basically the book publisher saw this photo on my blog and emailed me, asked if I can send him the high resolution photo for them to compile to this coffee table book - "Menara KL, Towering Excellence". Since this was my first time receiving this enquiry, I was more than happy to accept it with the terms that they will mail one to me when it is printed.

I am not sure how much I can sell my image to a book publisher, hence I decided to let them credit me in the Menara KL Coffee Table Book instead. Not sure if I am the only Malaysian featured in this page haha. All other names are either from organisation or "ang mo"'s name.


The first book was torn at the side but I get another new one. Thankfully
I still remember when I received the first package, it was broken and the book was torn at the edge. Fortunately, the publisher agree to send me a new one after request to compensate that and the packaging is definitely better with bubble wrap this time.

If a book publisher approach you to buy your photo, usually what's the rate?? Should I consider publish a Photobook/ E-Book and sell to people who are interested?? If yes, what kind of photobook would you want to see in store??

1600 Pandas Flash Mob @ Perbadanan Putrajaya, Malaysia #1600Pandas

1600 Pandas @ Perbadanan Putrajaya Just came back from Putrajaya after paying a visit to the 1600 Pandas exhibited at Perbadanan Putrajaya . The pandas flash mob were supposed to last for two hours but around 11am++ the pandas were being kept back to the rack due to drizzling at the venue. Anyhow, I manage to get some photos for you guys (and myself) haha. I love this location because the pandas were being placed on the carpet grass right in front of the beautiful buildings in Putrajaya. Too bad that the weather wasn't sunny and the carpet grass became muddy after rain. Luckily I wore my Havaianas slipper or else I am in deep shit hahaha. Malaysia local celebrities Jeffrey Cheng 庄惟翔 and  TJ 东于哲 were spotted at Perbadanan Putrajaya doing photoshoot and quick interview with the media. Fun fun fun! After the  Tea-se Session with David DeCandia at Coffee Bean , both me and Jennifer went to the dog park in Desa ParkCity for a 1-on-1 photography workshop. I am glad that there are people who wanna learn photography from me and I am able to give guidance on this favourite topic. I am not graduate from Art School but reading photography magazines and practice everyday can definitely helps improve your photography skill. Desa ParkCity has a huge park and this is one of the place where you can bring your dog hang out here and to meet new friends.
