Spot that little sparkle that make this photo looks awesome haha

Ever since Google did the Google-Image-SEO-Killer-Update, I believe many website who mainly share photoshas a major decrease on their traffic. Let see what has the new image search update do to you:

"Google’s January 23 image search update brought high resolution pictures directly within search results, leaving users with little incentive to clickthrough to the sites hosting and licensing the pictures. We analyzed the image search traffic of 87 domains and found a 63% decrease in image search referrals after Google’s new image search UI was released. Publishers that had previously benefited the most from their image optimization efforts suffered the greatest losses after the image search update, experiencing declines nearing 80%.

In the aftermath of the new image search experience, image SEO has been severely compromised, and we have no choice but to recommend deprioritizing image SEO when weighed against other search traffic initiatives." - Read more here

This means that people who create quality images and published on their site will have major traffic decrease because of the new Google Image Search update. Of course this is what happened to me as well...*sad* I am sure not just me alone is affected by this changes.

Ok, So Image Search is (Nearly) Dead. Now What?

"It’s difficult not to consider Google’s image UI change a shameless content grab – one which blatantly hijacks material that has been legitimately licensed by publishers so that Google Image users remain on their site, and are de-incentivized from visiting others.

If you’re an SEO, site owner, product manager, photo editor, developer or designer, the yield from image SEO suddenly looks much less attractive. If Google is going to only send a fraction of the image traffic it used to, there’s considerably less incentive to put in the work involved in optimizing images. Don’t get us wrong: we’re not saying that site owners shouldn’t follow image SEO best practices; what we are saying is that when force-ranking SEO priorities, this new data clearly shows that until Google changes its image UI to be fair to publishers, image SEO should be moved further down the list." - Read more here

How to not get affected by this deadly Google Image Search Update? All I can think of is to express more in words instead of just letting your photos tell the story. Google Image SEO is down, but you still have your writing that will bring back your traffic *slowly*



You may start to share your story through motion pictures (i.e. YouTube) instead and make money through it. Trust me, you won't regret making this changes. Just do something different that can adapt to the environment =) Nowadays, being YouTuber can be a full-time job too. Just like awesome Joseph Germani and DanKhoo. Don't forget about our infamous JinnyBoyTV too, Jin is not doing full-time solely on his YouTube channel but he is also a DJ on Hitz.fm too. Well, that's the job that somehow helps him to meet great personalities around the world and make great videos in the mean time =)

IM4U’s Reach Out Youth Volunteer Convention and Celebration

Since 1Malaysia For Youth (iM4U) is a common platform initiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia YAB Dato' Seri najib Tun Abdul Razak  for Malaysian youth to carry out volunteer activities that can benefits communities in need and social groups, an opening speech by him is prerequisite right? Hahaha!

I just wonder why 1Malaysia for Youth is called iM4U instead of 1M4U
So confusing to choose "i" or "1"    =.="

All right, here's a short photo story that I wanna share with you:

First, a group photo together on stage

Then, JinnyBoy introduced them to Najib who look very surprised

Tony, Deborah, Henry and Ben were very curious what they trying to do

Wala! David Choi manage to break the barrier and did a selfie together with Najib. It then follows up by Chester and Jason as well.

As usual, Tony Fernandes thrown a surprise to the crowd and he is the brave and lucky one to act fast. Congratz to this guy who won a trip to watch an oversea football game together with Tony himself.

The last speakers that I manage to listen to was Dato' Ruby Khong together with her two daughters sharing about Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK). It might be boring for some people but for me she kinda amazed me especially the good deeds that she did and continue contribute through KSK

Congrats to Dato' Ruby Khong for winning ntv7 Bella Heart Awards and the Bella Award (Highest Award) itself.

I wish I was able to listen to all speakers' sharing especially the YouTubers (Jason Chen, Chester See, David Choi) but seems like need to wait till another chance loo. Hopefully can meet the awesome YouTubers and talented musician at YTF/ISA Malaysia very soon!

Were you impressed as much as I (especially the freezing part)? I guess students’ in Taylor’s have acquired skills during their Culinary Arts studies. Bet their lecturers have that flare in making the industry interesting and appealing to their students. Anyhow, Culinary Arts is a fusion of arts and science, where one would experiments on how to bring the best out of any food preparations, whether it’s in terms of presentation or taste. =).

So I've decided to follow the steps of making  ice-cream in 2 minutes using the dry ice. Invited Fluffy and Bunny (my house's two cute rabbits) as my video guests this time as there's not many people I can get to act in my video in such a short time! Now please check out how I make them ice-cream like a boss!

Make Ice Cream in 2 Minutes Like A Boss!

That's how I 'make' my vanilla flavored ice cream and I manage to save Bunny!! Hope you guys liked the appearance of Fluffy and Bunny ya. The hardest part of recording this video was to have the rabbits do what you want them to do. In the end, I just checked out what I managed to film and added captions into the video.

As for the dry ices, you can actually get it from an ice factory (eg. Mox-Linde Factory selling dry ice at Jalan 222 PJ) or from Baskin Robbins especially when you buy a few pints of ice cream on 31st of the month.

The dry ice actually does works but for my case I will would have needed to get more dry ice to freeze the whole mixture fast =). An extra TIP: Crush the dry ice into powder form using a blender to improve the freezing process. Hope you had fun watching my video haha.
