Cutest Sleeping Puppies I've Ever Seen and photographed

If you love looking at something cute and like dog or puppies too, this photo post is for you. I took some photos of these puppies when I first saw them resting under a huge lorry. They making that cute little sound and I was worry about the lorry. Thankfully there were kind human who built a dog house for them and now relocated them to somewhere safer. They are now much bigger but I am glad I went to shoot some photos when the puppies were still very young with their eyes closed, wanting more milk from dog mommy or sleeping under the shade. 

For now, enjoy the photos. I've uploaded to Shutterstock and hopefully can get approval soon. Let me know if you are interested in getting them printed in large size to decorate your room or space at home. Or else, wait till Shutterstock approve it for commercial usage.

Quick updates on the puppies, total two are adopted and now left all female puppies for adoption. I was quite surprised when got people PM me saying they saw my post on Facebook for puppy adoption. And the kind family has adopted one! If you are interested, feel free to PM/contact me on how to adopt them ya.

Finding beautiful place around my neighborhood has always been fun. Little did I know that this empty land nearby my house can have its own beautiful landscape from time to time. Due to the schedule grass mowing, these lalang will only bloom once a while before the mower come again.

One fine morning I brought along the Nikon D780 for a trip trying to take some self portrait and dvlogging using it at this beautiful Puchong Lalang. Since it is seasonal, please do note that this place don't always looks as good as the photos. You gonna wait for the right time and come before the rain took the beauty away.

Here's a throwback to the recent event I've documented through my camera. Although it was just a press event and media interview. It is crucial to capture their precious moments too. With that, it won't makes you feel 'it-is-just-another-press-event' or boring. At least that's what I like to deliver to the eyes who look back at these event photos.

Guests of Honour includes multi-award winning actress Lo Koon Lan罗冠兰, lead actor John Y 虞日新, producer Kenny Chan, supporting actor Wilson Lee 李伟燊 and supporting actress Ruby DFaye 狄妃. The session involves each of the cast member sharing their experiences and thoughts about the filming process.

Million Loves in Me 寵我 x SPCA Ampang Charity Pledge

《Million Loves in Me 寵我》 paid a visit to SPCA Ampang, Selangor and here's some of the captured moments. The cats were all so relax sleeping and wandering around, while playful dogs in the compound awaiting us human to come play with them. Million Loves in Me 寵我 made a total amount of RM5000 Charity Pledge to SPCA Ampang at the end of the event.

I would like to say thank you to John 虞日新 for the opportunity to document this journey. Thanks Ruby狄妃 for recommending me to them too! It was indeed a very meaningful documentary photoshoot for this event. The past few sessions were good too as I get to learn a lot from 罗老师 罗冠兰 about how to act well in the character as an actor.  For now I would like to share some of the moments captured at SPCA Ampang. The SPCA environment has got much better if compared to last time and I am glad they have a strong team of people maintaining that place.

How To Get The Best Memory Card For Your Camera and Save Money

Hey guys, today I am sharing a quick tips on how to get the right memory card for your camera and drone, and how to save money by purchasing it online at the same time! As you can see from above, there are many different types of memory card for your camera. Different camera has different memory card requirement hence you really need to get the right memory card or else it will slow down your shooting experience.

I was once using a slow card (slow writing and reading speed lower than Class 10) on my DSLR and the buffering time affect the amount of thing I can capture in that limited time. Hence I missed capturing some precious moment that time and I regret that...

Get the Sandisk Ultra Class 10 SDHC Memory Card  (Silver color) If...

To make it simple, if your camera device can't capture 4K video, it is enough to get a memory card with Class 10 (C10) written on it. You will able to see the number "10" on it. Usually 32GB is enough for daily usage for your camera. Unless if you want to save more videos then you may go for the 64GB version.

Get the Sandisk Extreme SDXC UHS-I Memory Card (Gold color) If...

If your camera device can capture 4k image/video. You should really have this gold color Sandisk Extreme Memory Card to prevent slow performance of your device. GoPro Action Cam, DJI drone and of course mirrorless camera that can shoot 4K video, they all should use this gold color memory card to make sure the device can operate up to their original standard.

What if I got the slower card for 4K Recording Device?

You can still use the card, just that it might slow down your capturing action, longer buffering and waiting time before you can view the image especially when you are shooting RAW or high-resolution images. Even when you use slower card on GoPro that record 4K, you can notice the major difference in video start-up time and sometimes will occur error in recording.

So in conclusion, get the higher speed card if your device can record 4K images/video footage. It could be more expensive but definitely worth it in long run.

'RUMOUR HAS IT Adele – Her Life And Songs' - starring Naomi Price (The Voice Australia) this award winning musical celebration will be take you on the life journey of the ordinary girl Adele Adkins rise to stardom; featuring the best of her songs. The show was held at KLPAC from 21st – 25th Sept and below are some photos taken during the Asia Premiere Night. I love the simple decoration for the stage, the awesome lighting that complement their live performance and yet let us focusing on the vocals and live band. Thanks Milestone Production for your invitation, I did enjoy the show =)

I love Naomi Price's impersonation of Adele and the production even customized the show to Malaysian (especially when it comes to jokes that were being custom made including making fun of 'her' hairstyle). Overall, the show was a combination of Adele's story telling. She shared about her life through songs and the up and down which made our emotion flow accordingly. I love shooting this kind of music gigs!

In return, I hope Naomi and all the talented musicians who performed together would love the photos below. Do let me know what do you think kay?? Good or bad critiques is always a way for us to coomunicate (and for me to improve my photography of course)

Kirin Kiki (树木希林) at Japanese Film Festival 2016 @ GSC Pavilion KL

It was another year that I document Japanese Film Festival 2016 at GSC Pavilion KL. This year is much more special because there's appearance of Kirin Kiki (树木希林), a three-time Japanese Academy Award-winner who is considered a living legend of Japanese cinema. 

Kiki Kirin/ Kirin Kiki four-decade-long career has been marked by critically acclaimed roles in such films as Kamikaze Girls; Tokyo Tower: Mom and Me, and Sometimes Dad; Chronicle of My Mother; and Like Father, Like Son. Earlier this year, she walked away with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 10th Asian Film Awards. She appears twice in this year’s JFF lineup; as the protagonist’s mother in opening film After the Storm and as the female lead in An.

The first time I saw Kirin Kiki is through the movie "Kakekomi" in last year JFF. It was good to meet her in person and I gotta say she is very humble and shy at the same time. During the press conference, Kirin Kiki said that she don't have a personal assistant like other actors and she carry her own handbag. I am not sure if Kirin Kiki (树木希林) is active on the social media, but hopefully she would able to see these photos and like it the way I like it too.

To be honest, it is always confusing when it comes to translating our Chinese/Japanese name to english name. ( whether First Name or Last Name come first) I found most of the info of  树木希林 thorough Google and people address her as 'Kirin Kiki' instead of 'Kiki Kirin'. Anyhow, I am looking forward to watch this movie Sweet Bean (An) 甜味人間 あん =)
