DRB-HICOM AUTOFEST 2013 @ SPICE: Who's the winner of the brand new car?!

Heya guys, do you still remember I mentioned before that you can win a new car from the second DRB-Hicom Autofest 2013? This Autofest which was held at the SPICE (Subterranean Penang International Convention Exhibition has manage to attract over 18,000 residents from Penang and surrounding areas which came back after the 1st DRB-HICOM Autofest (held in January 2013 @ EON Complex, Glenmarie). Let see what are the things you've missed in Penang!

MODENAS Stunt Show, LOTUS Experience, Triton and Proton Convoy and launching of Modenas 118EFI

The three-days event which started on 28 June and has ended on 30 June 2013 hosted 10 brands under DRB-HICOM Group namely Audi, Can-am, Honda, Isuzu, Lotus, Mitsubishi, MODENAS, PROTON, Suzuki and Volkswagen. There were both indoor and outdoor activities and I ensure that the outdoor activities will be much more adrenaline rush with the Lotus Driving Experience and MODENAS Stunt Show =)



There were convoys from several Car Clubs from the models of Suzuki, Proton Inspira, Preve, Exora, Saga, Persona, Satria, Lotus, Mitsubishi Triton Tuners Club and MODENAS. May I know which convoy would you like to be if you were given a chance to be part of it? Of course I will prefer the fast speed Lotus!

The showcase of Mitsubishi G4 Concept car exhibition, MODENAS new model launching, 118 EFI and Suzuki Jimny preview were the first few attractions at DRB-HICOM AUTOFEST 2013.

Kids’ activities like colouring contest and games were also available on the event days. I am sure the crowd were kept full stomach as they can get food at the concourse area including Burger King, Pizza Hut and Rasamas. Rasamas was among the busiest area during the event days as the stalls were selling at a very competitive price.

The main attraction of this event was of course the chance to win the grand lucky draw of a new Proton SAGA SV and MODENAS CTRIC bikes. I would like to congrats the lucky one who won the newcar/bike!

Although others who didn't win anything through DRB-HICOM Autofest, they manage to enjoy the special promotion and exclusive deals for their brands which can only be grabbed at the event day itself.

On a side note, do you know that PUSPAKOM mobile inspection unit was also available on site and has offered Free vehicle inspections to the early birds of the event?? Good right?!

DRB-HICOM Autfest 2013 was supported by the non-automotive companies like Multi Automotive Services and Assist (MASA) and DRB-HICOM Leasing (DLSB). There was DRB-HICOM group synergy participated by PUSPAKOM, ICAM and DRB-HICOM Human Capital as well as incorporation of finance and insurance services to exhibit their current products and special offers to the public.

1600 Pandas Flash Mob @ Perbadanan Putrajaya, Malaysia #1600Pandas

1600 Pandas @ Perbadanan Putrajaya Just came back from Putrajaya after paying a visit to the 1600 Pandas exhibited at Perbadanan Putrajaya . The pandas flash mob were supposed to last for two hours but around 11am++ the pandas were being kept back to the rack due to drizzling at the venue. Anyhow, I manage to get some photos for you guys (and myself) haha. I love this location because the pandas were being placed on the carpet grass right in front of the beautiful buildings in Putrajaya. Too bad that the weather wasn't sunny and the carpet grass became muddy after rain. Luckily I wore my Havaianas slipper or else I am in deep shit hahaha. Malaysia local celebrities Jeffrey Cheng 庄惟翔 and  TJ 东于哲 were spotted at Perbadanan Putrajaya doing photoshoot and quick interview with the media. Fun fun fun! After the  Tea-se Session with David DeCandia at Coffee Bean , both me and Jennifer went to the dog park in Desa ParkCity for a 1-on-1 photography workshop. I am glad that there are people who wanna learn photography from me and I am able to give guidance on this favourite topic. I am not graduate from Art School but reading photography magazines and practice everyday can definitely helps improve your photography skill. Desa ParkCity has a huge park and this is one of the place where you can bring your dog hang out here and to meet new friends.
