Review Sony Headphone WH-1000X M3 with Wireless Music and Noise Cancelling Feature
【Review】Sony Headphone WH-1000X M3 with Wireless Music and Noise Cancelling Feature

Exactly a month ago,  I've got this new headphone for a test. Usually I will just use earphone (because my handphone got earphone jack) and it is very important when you do your work outside. If you don't want other noise to disturb you, wearing earphone would definitely help. (So your music won't disturb other too)

I will share with you my experience after using it for a month. It is great now listening to music wirelessly, regardless of going to the gym with it, or edit video where I need to listen to the music and tempo repetitively. Now I can jump rope headphone on without worries of getting tangled with the earphone wire.

Although this Sony headphone is not as small as earphone, one side of the headphone can be tilt inside, hence it save some space and you can keep it in the case that comes with it (usually I will just slot it into my camera bag thanks to its flexibility). The most beneficial things I found would be the 'Noise Canceling Function', now I no longer worry of crying babies or noisy ambiance in the plane. I can just switch on my favourite music and fall asleep with it.

Also, I quite like the function where I can control music volume and ambiance noise with just one touch on my right headphone surface. They called it 'Touch Control'. I can feel almost total silence when the 'Noise Cancellation' feature is turned on. Of course, if you want to talk or listen to someone, just touch your headphone to use the  'Talk At A Touch' function.

You can also adjust the level of ambient sound using its 'Adaptive Sound Control' function along with the apps that you can download from App Store (Apps name: Sony | Headphones Connect). With the permission of apps detecting location, the apps will switch from Staying, Walking, Running and Transport mode automatically.

For now, I usually just use the highest Noise Cancellation level so I can have peace of mind. One of the issue for wireless device is the short battery life, but for this Sony headphone, you can use for up to 30 hours after full charge. I brought it along for a 5D4N trip and only need to charge once. Hence no worries if you didn't bring the cable. Can just Quick Charge it for 10 minutes and use for another 5 hours.

There's Voice Assistant function available too, other than asking the temperature of the day, ask it to play some music on my Spotify, it can do so much more.  I was using the Google Assistant on my phone by changing the 'NC/AMBIENT button' to Google Assistant. Just press and hold then ask your question straightaway. There's more for you to figure out and learn from through the AI function that get smarter day by day.

If you ask me is the Sony Headphone WH-1000X M3 a good noise cancelling headphone? I would say hell yes =) Current RRP in Malaysia is RM1,599. Go ahead and check all the online store in Lazada, Shopee, I am sure you can find it at cheaper price.

Took some photos of the Sony Headphone 1000XM3 at the KOI bubble tea store
On aside note, KOI Bubble tea is kinda expensive wei, I had the signature bubble tea with white pearl and it cost me RM9.50. Oh well, I shall consider it as a reward after shooting for a day. So... What's your favourite Bubble Tea Brand? Is it The Alley? RegiusTea? HeyCha? TeaLive? Chatime? KOI? GongCha? Or _________?
