Staycation, a term I've always heard, but never experienced; until we stayed at Ramada Suites Kuala Lumpur City Centre (Ramada KLCC) for a special occasion. Ramada KLCC is located right at the center of Kuala Lumpur. For the shoppers, it is walking distance to all the major shopping malls like Pavilion KL, Lot 10 Isetan, Fahrenheit88. For foodies, popular makan places like Jalan Alor Street Food Night Market is nearby. If you are the clubbing type, the hotel is also surrounded by bars and clubs!

Our room was on the 17th floor, and the higher your floor, the better the view, especially if you love the Kuala Lumpur City skyline. I suggest you to request for a room in the higher floors during check in. Before we check out the view from balcony, let's have a look at my room!
I mentioned to the hotel that we were celebrating our anniversary, and Ramada KLCC decided to present a surprise to us in our room, a BIG surprise!
Happy Anniversary Celebration and decoration at Ramada KLCC
Basically, Ramada KLCC decorated the whole room with rose petals and balloons, including the washroom and kitchen area. Just scroll down for a pictures of our room. By the way, the Ramada KLCC has three types of rooms, we booked the "Studio Executive King" room.

Surprises with surprise! Gave her a special frame for our new home
She love Kumamon and dried flower hence I asked @hanamichi_01 to craft us this photo frame
Since my wife loves Kumamon and dried flowers, I asked @hanamichi_01 to craft this customized photo frame, and the awesome florist’s dried flower arrangement was also beautiful. I was so glad she loved it too! Feel free to contact Hanamichi for special flower art crafts!
Ramada KLCC even decorated the kitchen area too

Couple swans on the bed with a huge Happy Anniversary balloon floating in the air - Ramada KLCC
I would like to thank Ramada KLCC, specifically the housekeeping/creative staff for putting in effort to decorate the room. We were definitely wow-ed by the decorations! However, instead of the green balloons, another colour would better compliment the decoration.
The exact KL City view from my room balcony - Ramada KLCC 17th Floor
Here's the KL City View from the corridor's window at Ramada KLCC 17th Floor
If you have a chance to stay at the corner room of Ramada KLCC, you will able to enjoy wider angle view of KL City at night. Including the KL Tower and Tun Razak Exchange (that's still under construction).
Since we checked-in early, we went to Lot 10 Isetan, The Japan Store and PavilionKL for a walk. There is a Japanese Food Fair happening right now, hence you can try out some of the local delicacies at the Lot 10 basement outlet. PS: Don't forget to try out the Cheese Cake at 6th Avenue The Tokyo Restaurant (located on Lot 10 top floor)!
Some little and dainty plant available in Lot 10 Japan Store. Use sponge to replace soil planting
The one and only couple photo of us during staycation because the bear is too cute for celebrating Merdeka

Delicious dinner at Hugo's KL - HUGO's Special Fried Rice and Spaghetti Aglio E Olio
Hugo's KL is a restaurant and bar located at the ground floor of Ramada Suites KLCC. The food served here was surprisingly pretty good at reasonable price. There was Beer Happy Hour promotion - 3 pints for only RM45. We ordered some Western and Indian Cuisine including Spaghetti Aglio E Olio, Lamb Madras, Hawaiian Pizza and my personal favourite has got to be their Signature HUGO's Special Fried Rice with satay.

Friday Night is actually 'Salsa Dance Night' at Hugo's KL Ramada KLCC
Hugo's KL actually hosts Salsa Dance Night every Friday Night, so it tends to get busier at night. If you arrive early, you'll get a complimentary one-hour class from the professional Salsa Dance teacher. It was lovely seeing them dance; all I can say is that Salsa is a sexy dance that is not easy to learn!

Fireworks on Aug 31st night celebrating Merdeka at Changkat Bukit Bintang
We were hanging out with some of our friends from Singapore and Taiwan when fireworks came on at night. I woke up early the next morning trying to catch the sunrise. Although sunrise wasn't breathtaking, I am glad the sunset was great and you can check out my video of the sunset below:

1600 Pandas @ Perbadanan Putrajaya Just came back from Putrajaya after paying a visit to the 1600 Pandas exhibited at Perbadanan Putrajaya . The pandas flash mob were supposed to last for two hours but around 11am++ the pandas were being kept back to the rack due to drizzling at the venue. Anyhow, I manage to get some photos for you guys (and myself) haha. I love this location because the pandas were being placed on the carpet grass right in front of the beautiful buildings in Putrajaya. Too bad that the weather wasn't sunny and the carpet grass became muddy after rain. Luckily I wore my Havaianas slipper or else I am in deep shit hahaha. Malaysia local celebrities Jeffrey Cheng 庄惟翔 and TJ 东于哲 were spotted at Perbadanan Putrajaya doing photoshoot and quick interview with the media. I also spotted a wedding couple who did their wedding photoshoot around the pandas. Looking forward to see their photos in the social media. (Share with me if you saw it kay??) Okie now more

I should call this as one of the big lucky star that striked on me. =D Garmin nuvi 255W The letter - "A Garmin GPS is yours!" A macro shoot of him =) Recently took it out and try to use it. When reaching speed limit he will give me warning.
