Aligned with ntv7's 'Do Good Feel Good" motto,a group of local celebrities has been assembled to venture out of their comfort zone in an attempt to do their bid in changing the world for the better. The channel's latest programme, Listen to the World 聆听世界, invites its top 10 Chinese personalities to go to many corners of the world to listen to the forgotten voice, truly experience the local customs and simultaneously spreading the love and care to the people who have longed for it.
The 10 Chinese celebrities that will host the show includes - Debbie Goh, Frederick lee, Adrian Tan, Karena Teo, Leslie Chai, Aenie Wong, Lawrence Wong, Ong Ai Leng, Kyo Chen and Jan Chin. They will be divided into pair and tracel to place that is enriched with history and culture such as Thailand, Cambodia, China, Nepal as well as Sabah in hopes of sharing their life experiences with people who justly understand what hardship means. The celebrities will make their way to the rural area of these locations with onjy one objective; spreading the love with empathy and by lending a helping hand as any sincere gesture can easily be translate into a random act of love. Exploring a wide range of topics for discussion is also one of the agenda.

Kyo Chen 庄仲维 and Ong Ai Leng 王爱玲 were the first couple who started their mission for Listen to the World. Both Kyo and Ai Leng made their way up to Thailand to meet with representatives from a Non-Government Organisation (NGO), Warm Heart, and discovered the wild nature that's hidden in the mysterious Phrao Mountain. They were also given the opportunity to experience the lifestyle of the locals, while trailing a group of clinic workers hailing from the mountains to enter the village of Mae Sariang, in which both Kyo and Ai Leng embraced the real life of being a villager where water and electricity is severely limited.

Kyo did share his experience of finding difficulties to use the toilet as a family of 9 members only have one single toilet to use. Ai Leng's restaurant Xiao Bar Wang has raised funds on 26 May to contribute the funds collected on the day for building of six toilets and provide myopia test for the Phrao children. Kyo found a friend who are willing to sponsor 500 lenses for the Mae Sariang residents as well.

Frederick Lee 李洺中 and Debbie Goh 吴天瑜
are privileged to embark on a journey to discover the northern portion
of the Borneo Island, Sabah. Frederick and Debbie will travel to Sandakan,
where they will be exposed to the living conditions of the locals in
the village of Paitan that is said to be short in development. The pair
will also learn the term "Orang Sungai" and where it derived from as it
is highly associated with the villagers of Paitan.

Karena Teo 张惠虹 and Jan秦雯彬 will travel to Cambodia to comprehend a better understanding on human trafficking and child labour that has a nationwide phenomenon. They will also visit and interview some of the locals who have successfully escaped the nightmares of sexual abuse.

Aenie Wong 王淑君 and Adrian Tan 陈凯旋 will be traveling to the country where 81% of the occupants are Hindus, which is the beautiful Nepal. The two will take it to the streets and deepen their knowledge on local issues relating to the street children and their education.
Aenie and adrian said something funny during the press con. Let see if I got time to edit the video later =(

Malaysia local singer songwriter, Wu Jia Hui 伍家辉 shared his experience of making the theme song Listen to the World, entitled "Ai Zai Xin Li 爱在心里 (Love in My Heart)" together with 10 celebrities and revealed that Leslie Chai has the most unique voice.
They then together sing the theme song "Ai Zai Xin Li 爱在心里 (Love in My Heart)" aat the end of Listen to the World 聆听世界 Press Conference.

and restless condition, I forgot that I've missed out Kyo and Ai Leng's

You can support 'Listen to the World 聆听世界''s good cause by supporting their upcoming charity bazaar located at Sunway Giza Mall on 9 June (Sunday) [10 am to 2 pm]. ntv7 celebrities, together with one FM radio announcers will donate thir personal clothings which inlcude second hand items as well as brand new clothes and accessories. Other belongings such as exclusive photo albums and beauty prducts will also be up for purchase.
Major local brands such as Yeo's, Lipton Tea, body Glove, Asics, LINE, Action City, Follow Me and local designer Key Ng will hop on the bandwagon to spread good deeds by sponsoring some of the goods and clothing on that day. Wu Jia Jui will also make a special appearance in taking part in the charity bazaar. 'Listen to the World' theme song will be available in the form of a music EP and for sale during the bazaar, as well as other items including Listen to the World T-Shirts.

Proceeds from the bazaar's sale will be channeled to the Paitan primitive tribe in Sabah to help build the construction of a drinking water system and the traditional village house for the residents of Rumah Adat.
