Haze Hazard in Puchong. When will it stop?

Current haze condition in Puchong
Last weekend I was attending friend's wedding in Ipoh and the haze condition wasn't as bad as here in Puchong. Feeling really reluctant to come back Puchong as the photo I saw on my Facebook Timeline is all about this hazy view... I went out just now and can't barely see the sky/street...  Here's the view of the street around IOI Mall. Visited Guardian and mask was sold out... Luckily my great buddy Jian gave me a N95 mask just in case I need it.

Here's the view of the mosque located nearby my house covered by haze as well:
Mosque/masjid covered by haze around it has made it looks moody =(

Visit Malaysia Department of Environment website to check the current air status

How to check API(Air Pollutant Index)/ Indeks Pencemar Udara (IPU)  in Malaysia?
You can visit Malaysia Department of Environment website to check the current status. Yellow color means unhealthy air condition and you are advised to avoid any outdoor activities.

When Do You Need A Mask?
You won't need a mask till the API level exceeds 100 in the 'Unhealthy' range, especially for those with existing heart and respiratory ailments or more susceptible to smoke haze. People with respiratory ailments are advised to consult their doctors before using respirator masks such as the N95 mask.

These masks are designed to keep out fine particles in the air. Surgical and paper masks do not provide the same amount of protection from the pollutants in the air. Always consult with the pharmacists in attendance for advice on choosing the right mask and the proper instructions to use them.

Mosque beside the lake with bright blue sky and fluffy cloud
This mosque used to look as beautiful as this (captured earlier in March 2013). Hopefully the haze will go away through huge wind/ a huge thunderstorm that can clear up the air.

"Haze never stop me to hunt for food"
Till then, keep calm, wear N95 mask and continue working!
You may want to read about "Kipas 1Malaysia" that might save the world! Haha

PS: Look at the bright side, kids having special school holiday once a while and that made them including people who drive to work happy too! No traffic jam.
