Best Time to Visit Nami Island Secretly Beautiful At Night  | Things To Do In #Chuncheon

I guess you've heard of Nami Island 남이섬 because you've watch the Korean drama, but do you know there's a different kind of Nami Island especially when you wait until it sunset?? On my recent trip to Chuncheon, one of the most unforgettable moment and travel highlight was to visit Nami Island in the evening and see how it transform into something so different and beautiful at night.

Staying in Chuncheon was pretty relaxing and I really love the slower life pace in that town. Waking up naturally and enjoying the relaxing burnch before we depart to Nami Island. We took a train from Chuncheon station to Gapyeong Station (total 6 stops) and then a quick taxi ride (5,000 KRW) to Nami Island Departure station. There's also hourly shuttle bus that transfer you at 1,500 KRW only. We need to take a ferry to go into Nami Island, the VISA Entry ticket (included Ferry Fee) to Nami Island cost us 13,000 KRW per person.

It was already almost 3pm when we reach the dock, didn't expect to see so many people coming out from the ferry and it could be a good sign that the tourists are leaving the island (usually people come from Seoul and arrive in the morning). Which means I would have higher chance of getting better travel photos.

The crowd in Nami Island after 3pm was definitely a good decision, many people were leaving while we just heading inside. Thankfully the weather was great, sun lights shining through the slowly-turning-red tree, seeing wild cute animals wandering around (squirrels, rabbit, peacock, geese and more) and how it transformed into something different at night. Yes, Nami Island open till night and have special rate at 8,000 KRW only after 6.10PM.

Transportation info toadjust your travelling time:
Chuncheon → Gapyeong Station (about 20 min by train)
Gapyeong Station → Nami Island : On foot – 20 min. / By car – 5 min.(About 1.9km)

Today we had a sneak peek to the K-Performance Show 2019 at KLCC Plenary Hall. I really enjoyed the non-verbal performances by JUMP, The Painters & Sachoom, and 2 Kpop artists: VIXX Leo & T-bird for FREE! (VIXX Leo and T-bird will perform during the weekend) Thanks KTO Malaysia for organizing this event!

Today I want to introduce you Tongin Market (통인시장), a place where you will able to try different local food at one same place with the fun of getting your food with Yeopjeon(엽전), their traditional brass coins.

Tongin Market established in 1941, a market originally caetred ofr local need, has now become a place with Dosirak Cafe (도시락카페), a cafeteria where you can enjoy your lunchbox located at the middle part of Tongin Market. This Tonging Traditional Market is located near Gyeongbokgung Palace. Hence you will see tourists in beautiful Hanbok come here and have their meal.

Instead of compiling everything that I did in Korea last week, I would like to share some captured moments that tell the ambiance in this special place -  Kyobo Bookstore @ GwangHwamun Seoul. We went to this book store with Rano, Khulan and Ogia. I was amazed with what I saw and feel in here. The reading vibes is pretty strong here consider it is a weekday and night time. Check out the photos below and I can assure you it worth a visit.

My opinion on Hyuna and Psy's Gangnam Style MV:

Hyuna's Gangnam Style MV is very simple and straighforward. Everything is sexy but not as popping as Bubblepop. The music was really addictive and it keep "running" in my mind once I watched Psy's Gangnam Style MV. (Didn't know it trending until I was back from London) Oh well, I still prefer Psy's version of Gangnam Style because the MV looks really stupid but funny. Psy was smart in doing stupid stunt but not forgetting getting pretty and sexy ladies dancing together in his MV. 

As for Hyuna's Gangnam Style? She really sounds like Pikachu when saying 'Oppa Is Just My Style'

Lee Ji-Eun (Hangul: 이지은), commonly known by the stage name of IU (아이유) is a South Korean singer.

IU did a duet with 2AM's Seulong for this song "잔소리" (Nagging / Scolded). This song is also referred to as "우리 사랑하게 됐어요 2" (We Fell In Love 2). The song was created for the show - We Got Married. IU won her first award since debuting on SBS Inkigayo for "Nagging." On July 2, 2010, she won another award for this song on KBS Music Bank K-Chart.

Just recently, IU was awarded the New Generation Singer Award for the 17th Korean Entertainment Arts Awards ceremony that was held on October 23rd at the Sungnam Art Center opera house . Congratulation to her achievement and hope she is doing better day by day.

Do remember that she is only 17 years old this year~! I still like the acoustic version of IU's song, softer and more relaxing to listen with.
