Japanese Film Festival 2019 @ GSC Malaysia 5 Sep 2019 - 6 Oct 2019 The annual Japanese Film Festival (JFF) turns “16” this year and is set to light up selected Golden Screen Cinemas nationwide, boasting a broad collection of current and acclaimed titles across a variety of genres ranging from family to music and comedy. The selection of 13 movies will capture hearts and minds of audiences from all ages and giving the opportunity for everyone to enjoy the latest and finest Japanese movies on the big screen. The month-long celebration will be kicking off with the South East Asian premiere of “Little Nights, Little Love” directed by IMAIZUMI Rikiya on JFF KL Opening night on 3 September 2019. GSC Hungary Film Festival 2019 @ Pavilion KL | Hungarian 2019 Film Fiesta 2.0 in Malaysia Hungarian 2019 Film Fiesta 2.0   (Hungarian Film Festival 2019) at GSC Pavilion KL was successfully held on 20th June 2019. 19th European Union Film Festival 2018 [18 OCT - 12 DEC] The European Union Film Festival (EUFF) returns once more to selected Golden Screen Cinemas. Now in its 19th year in Malaysia and one of the biggest international film festivals in the country, this much-anticipated event promises to showcase the dynamism, breadth and innovation of contemporary European cinema, as well as the cultural diversity of Europe, with critically-acclaimed films from across the continent. This year, EUFF have added one more city to the festival tour – Johor Bahru . The European Union Film Festival will take place at selected Golden Screen Cinemas outlets in Klang Valley (18 – 28 October), Georgetown (1-7 November), Johor Bahru (15-18 November), Kuching (22-28 November) and Kota Kinabalu (6-12 December). 

GSC Vietnamese Film Festival 2018 Launch Pavilion KL #GSCVFF18 A journey to Vietnam through films! Golden Screen Cinemas is hosting inaugural Vietnamese Film Festival from 23-29 August 2018 in Malaysia and I was there to capture precious moments of the launch taken place at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur last week. Ms. Koh Mei Lee (Chief Executive Officer, Golden Screen Cinemas) dressed up in a gorgeous yellow dress, Mr Nguyen Anh Duc (Political-Counsellor of Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam) and his family also dressed up in the colorful cultural costume. Super Saigon provided local Vienamese food and it was great =) Not forgetting the Saigon Beer and red wines. Hungary Film Fiesta 2018 @ GSC Pavilion KL ft. Faiz Subri (L-R) Mr. György Szöllosi, H.E. Hungarian Film Fiesta 2018 had taken place at GSC Pavilion KL from 7 to 10 June. If you are a football fans you would definitely love their free screening. Courtesy of the Embassy of Hungary in Kuala Lumpur , four titles were screened for free at the film fiesta, which are “Puskás Hungary“, “Barca’s Untold Legends”, “Brazils” and “6:3 AKA Past Plays Itself” . Malaysia's First Onyx Cinema LED Screen in Golden Screen Cinemas Try it out at GSC Mid Valley Hall 11 GSC and Samsung has worked together and have this brand new revamped cinema hall for better movie experience. GSC Mid Valley Megamall Hall 11 is the first in Malaysia to have LED Cinema Screen for a different movie viewing experience. The other day watched Jurassic World  # myfallenkingdom  again, find that the screen showed more contrast, more even screen brightness regardless of which corner you seat, even subtitles also looks sharper  😂 # OnyxGSC For now, you just need an extra RM1.50 for a much more comfortable movie seat and it's for you to spot the differences for yourself to watch movie with this new screen.
