Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra May 2020 Camera Update | Better Focusing & New Macro Feature

Just updated my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with the latest May 2020 Software Update and noticed major improvement in focusing and there is a NEW "Macro Lens Focusing" also know as Close-up zoom feature added to the camera. Watch the video below and let me know if you think the camera focusing for Galaxy S20 has improved!

The security patch is updated to 1 May 2020. The updated software version for S20 Ultra is G988BXXU2ATE6 / G988BOXM2ATE6 / G988BXXU2ATE3 with 300MB++ in size. If you wonder my phone is Snapdragon or Exynos version, my phone comes with the Exynos chipset.

According to some other website, it mentioned that the image quality of the Night mode has been improved as well. Including a more responsive fingerprint reader and better sound quality from the speaker. These are on the list for me to find out as well!

I am glad that Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra now has a new special Close-Up Zoom function, which is designed to improve close-up focusing on your object. I noticed it is equals to 2x focusing but not sure if they will change the focusing feature if I zoom in 2x manually. Also, I am not sure how to trigger the close-up focusing feature yet, sometimes it come out it self and sometimes it don't. Will spend some time to test this out.

Now I wonder if this updates will improve both the Snapdragon and Exynos Version of S20 Ultra. Or there's still some major difference when we compare the S20 family with different chipset embeded in it. Will the space zoom image photo of shooting something far away be improved as well? 

If you haven't receive the May 2020 software update for your S20, be patient! As you will get a notification to download and install it on your phone once it is slowly roll out to your turn. You can also look for the update manually by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install on your phone.

1600 Pandas Flash Mob @ Perbadanan Putrajaya, Malaysia #1600Pandas

1600 Pandas @ Perbadanan Putrajaya Just came back from Putrajaya after paying a visit to the 1600 Pandas exhibited at Perbadanan Putrajaya . The pandas flash mob were supposed to last for two hours but around 11am++ the pandas were being kept back to the rack due to drizzling at the venue. Anyhow, I manage to get some photos for you guys (and myself) haha. I love this location because the pandas were being placed on the carpet grass right in front of the beautiful buildings in Putrajaya. Too bad that the weather wasn't sunny and the carpet grass became muddy after rain. Luckily I wore my Havaianas slipper or else I am in deep shit hahaha. Malaysia local celebrities Jeffrey Cheng 庄惟翔 and  TJ 东于哲 were spotted at Perbadanan Putrajaya doing photoshoot and quick interview with the media. Fun fun fun! After the  Tea-se Session with David DeCandia at Coffee Bean , both me and Jennifer went to the dog park in Desa ParkCity for a 1-on-1 photography workshop. I am glad that there are people who wanna learn photography from me and I am able to give guidance on this favourite topic. I am not graduate from Art School but reading photography magazines and practice everyday can definitely helps improve your photography skill. Desa ParkCity has a huge park and this is one of the place where you can bring your dog hang out here and to meet new friends.
