The 19th edition of Le French Festival announced its line-up for 2020: Performances and events to be savoured directly from France! (L-R) Ms. Julie Loffi, Coordinator of Le French Festival; Ms. Shirley Low, Chief Marketing Officer of Golden Screen Cinemas; H. E. Frederic Laplanche,  Ambassador of France to Malaysia; Mr Roger Kasparian, a renowned mid-sixties French photographer whose artwork will be featured in an exhibition with LFF 2020 and Mr. Jacques Bounin, Director of Alliance Francaise photographed together at the press conference of Le French Festival 2020.

The French Festival is back again, as Malaysia’s highly-anticipated and largest annual French event returns with its 19th edition of Le French Festival (LFF)! From 19 March – 26 April, LFF is set to bring Malaysians on a journey of delight in all things French including French cinema screenings, art exhibitions, music and theatre performances, gastronomy and more.

Since its inception in 2001, LFF has progressively evolved to be the main connection of cultural exchange between France and Malaysia while successfully establishing its roots in four major cities, reaching over tens of thousands of spectators: Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu.

That's where I meet Nicol David and Chris Leong for the first time. In overall, it is an eye opening event of how grand an awards event can be, especially BrandLaureate Awards. Together with Parkson My Town Shopping Centre, 《Million Loves in Me 寵我》 had a shopping contest for audience to win RM1800 worth of shopping vouchers. I was there to capture the behind the scenes of how the participants shop the the exact and closest value and he/she will be the winner.

Based on my experience, it's teamwork that will help you win this kind of contest. There were two participants who come to an agreement and join force to make their shopping value very close to the required amount. I give them a big thumbs up for that because 团结就是力量，赢了再互相分享，互惠互利啊 哈哈

Le Pont Boulangerie et Café @ Old Klang Road Bedford Business Park

On 20 September 2015, Le Pont Boulangerie et Café has officially opened its stately doors in Old Klang Road with a three-storey French European boulangerie-patisserie-café offering wholesome cafe cuisine, traditionally artisanal yet innovative breads and pastry, custom-roasted house blend coffee and specially-crafted drinks.

The inspiration behind the name Le Pont (French for ‘The Bridge’) comes from the desire to capture the vision of a unique space where people can come together and forge new friendships and the aspiration to create a food and beverage concept where food and drink connect seamlessly. Thus was born a French European boulangerie-patisserie-cafe that strives to connect cultures, link great food with memorable moments and showcase culinary expertise and gastronomic innovations.

After reading the post from EatDrinkKL,  I was really interested to check out their interior, especially that beautiful stairs. Thankfully Le Pont invited me for their official Grand Launch so I can check out this place with gf. They have actually operated for quite some time before this launch though. In mid of August, I was invited by Royal Selangor for the preview of their STAR WARS Pewter Collection where some of the designs are in limited edition. Royal Selangor has teamed up with The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia to launch a collection that commemorates STAR WARS, one of the most successful movie franchises of all time and worldwide popular culture phenomenon.

Although I am not exactly a huge fans of Star Wars, I do find these special edition pewter collection deserved some sharing. Royal Selangor Star Wars collection's lineup consists of 8-inch figurines,mugs, tumblers, USB flash drives and cufflinks. Let's have a look on the collection shall we??

I believe for frequent visitors of Mid Valley Megamall you've seen the life size minions invaded Centre Court of the shopping mall. There are more than 50 huge size minions being placed around the mall and the place was crowded with lots of cute minions fans!!

Minions invasion at Mid Valley Megamall will be there from 28th May until 14th June 2015! Therefore you guys shouldn't miss this chance to meet the cute minions before the movie premiere~ Not only that you can take unlimited photo with the minions statue, you can also meet the minions mascots (1PM, 4PM and 7PM) or even play the Minion Rush Game at the Huawei-Honour booths to get limited edition 'Minion' movie merchandise and more.

Since that place was so crowded with people coming here for holiday, I've tried my best to capture the good view of the Minions Tribe here. You will have an idea on what to look for when you arrive here =)
