Prettiest Milky Way in Malaysia (Tioman Island) #TCTravel 


I was writing a phone review for Redmi Note 4 today and noticed that I shall take a break before complete it. Hence came up with this 1 minute video of a random night (not so random) in Tioman Island Malaysia.

Many people thought that one can only see the milky way oversea. Little did they know that you can see the milky way as long you are looking at the sky at the right season with no light pollution around you. 

I can say I was lucky to spot this milky way in the middle of the night. I put my camera outside for timelapse photography at 12.30am and went back to the room for a nap. A 5 minutes nap turned into a few hours sleep and I suddenly jumped out of the bed around 5am in the morning.

I then quickly ran out from the room just to see whether my camera was still there LOL. (thank god) Before I kept my camera, I check the sky again and saw the bright stars right behind me, it was the milky way rising up and I was like "OMG OMG OMG I gotta shoot this right now!". So I went back to the room, get a fresh new battery and put it into my D750 to start capture the timelapse until the sky turns bright. Sunrise was coming up from behind the mountain hence I didn't shoot the sunrise.

What a coincidence to spot this beautiful milky way right from Tioman Island - one of the most beautiful island in Malaysia! Now I would like to share with you:

Timelapse video captured using Nikon D750 with  14-24mm f2.8G Lens and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro. If you want to capture milky way too, download the 'Star Walk 2' so that you can predict when and where the milky way gonna appear. Best thing to do is to prepare properly before the next milky way happen in front of your eyes =)

1600 Pandas Flash Mob @ Perbadanan Putrajaya, Malaysia #1600Pandas

1600 Pandas @ Perbadanan Putrajaya Just came back from Putrajaya after paying a visit to the 1600 Pandas exhibited at Perbadanan Putrajaya . The pandas flash mob were supposed to last for two hours but around 11am++ the pandas were being kept back to the rack due to drizzling at the venue. Anyhow, I manage to get some photos for you guys (and myself) haha. I love this location because the pandas were being placed on the carpet grass right in front of the beautiful buildings in Putrajaya. Too bad that the weather wasn't sunny and the carpet grass became muddy after rain. Luckily I wore my Havaianas slipper or else I am in deep shit hahaha. Malaysia local celebrities Jeffrey Cheng 庄惟翔 and  TJ 东于哲 were spotted at Perbadanan Putrajaya doing photoshoot and quick interview with the media. Fun fun fun! After the  Tea-se Session with David DeCandia at Coffee Bean , both me and Jennifer went to the dog park in Desa ParkCity for a 1-on-1 photography workshop. I am glad that there are people who wanna learn photography from me and I am able to give guidance on this favourite topic. I am not graduate from Art School but reading photography magazines and practice everyday can definitely helps improve your photography skill. Desa ParkCity has a huge park and this is one of the place where you can bring your dog hang out here and to meet new friends.
