An Experience Helping People In Need Today I would like to share something I did in mid of July. It was a meaningful evening with friends from Maxis team.Working with two local NGOs –  Pertiwi Soup Kitchen  and  Kechara Food Bank  – over 150 Maxis volunteers took to homes and the streets during Ramadan to distribute food and essential supplies to the urban poor and homeless in and around the Klang Valley. #ProjectNourish was more than just about helping the needy. It gave us the opportunity to go down to the ground to see for ourselves the reality of urban poverty, have a sense of gratitude and do something meaningful. It was certainly an eye opening experience to be able to directly interact with and help those in need. Below are some photos taken when we visited two of the family:

Japanese Film Festival 2015 x GSC Malaysia @ Pavilion KL It was an honour that GSC Malaysia decided to hire me for my photography service again after their grand winning in Putra Brand Awards 2015 . They like the photos so I was there to shoot for their Japanese Film Festival 2015 at GSC Pavilion KL the other day. It was my first Japanese Film Festival and I gotta say I really love the movie Kakekomi directed by Masato Harada. Always good to meet talented people who can create creative motion images =) It was good to see Ms Koh Mei Lee and Linora Low in Kimono too. I heard it took them at least 30-45 minutes to wear it well and the color/design represent different age group. I really can't wait to visit Japan this coming November!! #TCSelfie with Zlwin Chew magician buddy in the mid air during Dinner In The Sky @ KL Tower Carpark Malaysia was the FIRST country in South East Asia to host Dinner In The Sky, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur , promising an amazing view of the iconic KL Tower and Petronas Twin Towers.  (that's what they said). This dining experience is definitely unique but come with a price. I was thinking of sharing my dinner in the sky experience right after I tried it but last minute works do come in last minute!! So I've just finished processing a few wedding/event photos and told myself I must share about this adventurous dinner tonight!! I will answer the questions that I've been asked by friends at the post below. More photos including the fine-dine 5 courses and the surrounding when you are hanging mid-air. The scenery wasn't that astonishing because of haze but I still able to see KL Tower and Petronas Twin Towers in a distance. Now read my detailed experience below!

‘Taste of Malaysia’ Travel & Cooking Programme with Martin Yan on both ntv7 & 8TV This month, foodies will be treated to the rich authentic Malaysian flavours whipped up by world-renowned American Chinese chef, Martin Yan , in ‘Taste of Malaysia’ , a brand new cooking programme.  The series which was officially launched at the The Place @ One City will focus on how the diversity of food and culture in the country instills a sense of togetherness among Malaysians. The series was shot in several locations across Malaysia such as Klang, Penang, Ipoh, Malacca, Terengganu, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak.

My photo being misused on phone case. What should I do? What happen if you found out someone misused your photo? Do you take an action or you just leave it?? I guess this is the question that many people would have asked especially in Malaysia. Most people choose to ignore as they not sure what they can do with it. If it is on Facebook when someone impersonate you, you can report the profile. But what if your picture has been printed on a product instead?? Sometimes you can see your photos suddenly appear on the website without any credit and sometimes they are making money using it. Above photo is not the only case...

I saw this video the other day and feels like I must really share more kindness through the internet instead of looking at all the ranting news on Facebook hah. Samsung GALAXY Note 5 Launch in Malaysia (Sunway Pyramid) Samsung KOL taking selfies at the Note 5 media launch It was an adventurous two days experience for me as Samsung's Social Photographer of the day during their Samsung GALAXY Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus launch nationwide. I was sort of the photographer that take photo for Samsung live update on their Twitter and Instagram (didn't saw my photos on FB). Luckily I got all the things I have (DSLR with correct lenses, WiFi Card for instant transfer, enough spare battery) to make sure that I did my job the best I can.   I went to Sunway Pyramid again for their Note 5 50% off on 2nd gadget promotion and the crowd was really huge!! A bit regret as I only reach there around 9am and first 100 spots already taken. Due to good response on the crowd, Samsung Malaysia decided to give extra Golden Tickets to the people on queue. #BERSIH4.0 - My Photography Journey @ Dataran Merdeka , Masjid Jamek and Bukit Jalil "Prime Minister Najib Razak has become embroiled in a scandal involving state fund debts and allegations of deposits totaling 2.6 billion ringgit paid to his bank account. Razak has denied any wrongdoing. Thousands of people gathered to demand his resignation and a new general election." Yesterday Bersih Rally was a peaceful journey for all Malaysians except the firecrackers incident. I am glad that the culprit has been caught and this time everyone is safe!! Below are a series of photos taken during my trip to Masjid Jamek and Dataran Merdeka from Bukit Jalil LRT Station. Since the Merdeka celebration has been moved to Bukit Jalil, you can see the crowd coming in to celebrate Merdeka. After comparing the crowds, they came for different purpose. At Bukit Jalil, they were there mostly with families to celebrate Merdeka day with live music and fireworks at 12am; At Dataran Merdek

 The Yellow Sea at #Bersih4.0 Dataran Merdeka 30.8.2015 Captured through the window of the moving LRT Just got back from the street photography of #BERSIH4.0 at Dataran Merdeka and Masjid Jamek area tonight. The crowd is definitely huge and it was hard to move around when I arrived at night. Decided to drop by this place quite last minute as it was raining in KL. Anyhow, I am glad I've made it to capture some precious moments of this event which happened in Malaysia. When I reached Masjid Jamek LRT Station the whole place was crowded already, it was not easy to move around. Some of them sitting on the floor focusing on the truck which has speakers giving speech and some just move around trying to reach Dataran Merdeka.  I gave up trying to reach Dataran Merdeka as I know it is totally full with people in yellow shirts. Although I am not exactly a huge fans of Star Wars, I do find these special edition pewter collection deserved some sharing. Vernanchan.com is the best and cutest person to represent Maxis Zerolution that day The other day I was at Maxis Zerolution event which looks more like a party instead. There were lots of balloons with different social media logos on it and best thing is they are all colorful!! Not only that, the catering did a great job in decorating their finger food too. TiPsy Brew O'Coffee @ Puchong Setiawalk - Enjoy Nice Coffee Scent Tipsy Brew O'Coffee @ Puchong Setiawalk -  As a Puchong citizen you might have already aware of it but I am here to share this awesome place for coffee lover who like cafe hopping and especially the one who appreciate the coffee as much as how the owner make it. I was just randomly drop by this place in one morning and the moment when I step into the coffee shop, the nice coffee fragrant immediately told me that I have come to the right place. Not only I like the ambiance, I think the most important thing is how the waiters/barista serve you a nice cup of coffee. Many people like to do #cafehopmy but I don't see why people #cafehoppuchong. Perhaps people outside from Puchong scared of the "legendary" traffic jam especially the LDP area. It is kinda true if you always come to Puchong during working hour, imagine I myself find it frustrated when I want to go to KL but got stuck in this
