Career Evolution @

Image
Harlo :) Today I would like to share with you all a post from "I'm Mark" blog This article is credits to Mark @ www.wretch.cc/blog/markleeblog ~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~ 職場進化論 也許大家不知道 達爾文 (Charles Robert Darwin) 今年正好兩百歲了。 Our life is gettin

Elizabeth Wong Encountered Exco Dirty Tricks

Image
By Neville Spykerman KUALA LUMPUR , Feb 16 – The salacious side of Malaysian politics has once again been exposed after the circulation of nude pictures said to be that of Selangor state executive councilor and PKR politician Elizabeth Wong. The photographs are believed to have been taken by a former boyfriend without her consent. PKR and Pakatan Rakyat (PR) politicians are now scrambling to limit the damage which will be caused by the circulation of the photographs. The unmarried Wong, 37, is understood to have lodged a police report. Copies of the photographs were sent to a number of newspapers last week, in what appears to be an orchestrated attempt to smear her image. The circulation of the photographs comes as the PR alliance is coming under more pressure from the Barisan Nasional (BN). After the toppling of the PR Perak state government recently, the Selangor state government is also said to be under the threat of defections. Wong, today, said the distribution and pub

Effective Microbes @ EM

Image
E ffective M icroorganisms , or EM is one of the most popular microbial technologies being used worldwide now. EM products have been on the market since 1983 in Japan, and can be found in local home center stores. EM comes in a liquid form and consists of naturally-occurring beneficial microorganisms. These microorganisms in EM can easily be classified into three major groups: lactic acid bacteria (commonly found in dairy products), yeast (e.g. bread, beer), and phototrophic bacteria. Throughout the world, EM applications are made in the farming, livestock, environmental clean-up (polluted waterways, lakes and lagoons), and health industries. What EM is not The microbes in EM are not harmful, pathogenic, genetically-engineered/modified (GMO), nor chemically-synthesized. Neither is EM a drug or fertilizer. EM & The Environment EM can make the environment better. EM environmental applications throughout the world have included: Converting kitchen garbage into nutrient-enriched compo

Self Limiting Thoughts

Image
Do you have self limiting beliefs? Are there hopes and dreams tucked away inside your mind? Is that where they are going to stay? Do you long to do things and yet don't take the next step to achieve your dream? It's your own thoughts that limit you, although you might say that this isn't true, that you would live your dream but people have told you they don't think its a good idea, or that you probably wont be successful, and so you haven't bothered. Don't blame other people! Don't let someone else's thoughts and ideas control what you want to do. When people say they don't want you to do something, and you choose to listen to them, it's your though ts that limit you, not the other people who gave their opinion. Time and again we let our thoughts limit us. Sometimes because we can't be bothered, we can't get enthusiastic, or maybe we are in fear of failing. There are people who don't attempt new things in case they succe

Stem Cells Could Boost Blood Transfusion Supplies

Image
[Acquired from http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2008/08/19/stem-cells-blood.html] Aug. 19, 2008 -- Scientists say they've found an efficient way to make red blood cells from human embryonic stem cells , a possible step toward making transfusion supplies in the laboratory. The promise of a virtually limitless supply is tantalizing because of blood donor shortages and disappointments in creating blood substitutes. Red blood cells are a key component of blood because they carry oxygen throughout the body. Experts called the new work an advance, but cautioned that major questions had yet to be answered. The research, published online Tuesday by the journal Blood , was reported by scientists at Advanced Cell Technology in Worcester, Mass., the University of Illinois at Chicago and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. The researchers said the cells they made behaved like natural red blood cells in lab tests, and that their process could be used in large-scale production. The resu

Thalassemia

Image
I have been searching for the possible symptoms and here they are: The carrier will have a mild anemia which means that the carrier will have a mild reduce in the red blood cells within his body. The thalassemia minor carrier will also have a mild enlargement in the spleen (organ which is located adjacent to the stomach and which stores or filters the blood). A potential thalassemia carrier will also experience fatigue and tiredness more usual compared to a healthy individual. This means that, a potential thalassemia carrier will feel tired both physically and mentally. In addition to that, if an individual is suffering from shortness of breath, he should also be more aware about this health conditions as normally, an individual suffering from shortness of breath may very well be a potential carrier of the thalassemia disease. If blood trace is found on an individual's urine, the individual should visit his general practitioner as soon as possible as blood trace in urine may very w

Image

An article to share. Appreciate what you have now every moment!
