Letter of the month page on NewMan Magazine January 2010 Issue


Sometimes I will write email to the magazine that I've read because I have something to say and to try my luck win prizes for being "Letter of the Month". Didn't manage to win this time but got my comment published =D




Here is my comment:
First of all, I really appreciate Newman putting one of my favourite girl, Elvanna Raine on the cover! She looks attractive and unique in the night club setting. It caught my eye because most men are visual animals! Secondly, thanks for presenting so many different cufflinks. I managed to find one that suits my formal coat. And last but not least, I love your contests, but I have a suggestion: why don't Newman put the contest form/pages behind an advertisement or something less important than your articles? I feel sorry when I cut out the form and sacrifice the article behind. Other than that, cheers for the upcoming year ahead.

Ah yes, we considered putting promo pages behind ads, but we didn't think our generous advertisers would take too kindly to having their pretty adverts ripped out. So here's a suggestion, why not buy two issues every month - one to keep and one for contests? Wink Wink


How I wish they will replace "Melaka" with www.TianChad.com ;p

1600 Pandas Flash Mob @ Perbadanan Putrajaya, Malaysia #1600Pandas

1600 Pandas @ Perbadanan Putrajaya Just came back from Putrajaya after paying a visit to the 1600 Pandas exhibited at Perbadanan Putrajaya . The pandas flash mob were supposed to last for two hours but around 11am++ the pandas were being kept back to the rack due to drizzling at the venue. Anyhow, I manage to get some photos for you guys (and myself) haha. I love this location because the pandas were being placed on the carpet grass right in front of the beautiful buildings in Putrajaya. Too bad that the weather wasn't sunny and the carpet grass became muddy after rain. Luckily I wore my Havaianas slipper or else I am in deep shit hahaha. Malaysia local celebrities Jeffrey Cheng 庄惟翔 and  TJ 东于哲 were spotted at Perbadanan Putrajaya doing photoshoot and quick interview with the media. Fun fun fun! After the  Tea-se Session with David DeCandia at Coffee Bean , both me and Jennifer went to the dog park in Desa ParkCity for a 1-on-1 photography workshop. I am glad that there are people who wanna learn photography from me and I am able to give guidance on this favourite topic. I am not graduate from Art School but reading photography magazines and practice everyday can definitely helps improve your photography skill. Desa ParkCity has a huge park and this is one of the place where you can bring your dog hang out here and to meet new friends.
