What is R16? 'R' stands for Respect . R16 and Urban Arts Festivals was created in 2007 by the Korea Tourism Organization and the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to support grassroots youth culture such as Hip Hop and BBoy. Since 2007, the four-day event has attracted more than 300 artists, musicians, dancers and promoters from all over the world to South Korea. Through R16, these grassroots street culture has become a mainstream trend and has attracted many youths to take up Hip Hop and BBoying as a healthy and energetic sports and hobby. This event is created and designed by celebrated professionals in the design community. Last Saturday (24th April), R16 has the Malaysia Audition for B-Boy Championship organized at TimeSquare. Okay, straight to the point, I was there at Glee FlashMob rehearsal in Garden Ballroom just now. Early birds are getting more and more after I arrived. Super long time ago (March 10) visited Kitchen Creature @ Centrepoint with little UTAR gang to try out their no frills dining. What does "no frills" mean? "No Frills" - means you don't need to get your own fish. *just kidding* There is this fish pool at the Centrepoint and there are tons offish + few tortoise in it. "No Frills Dining " actually means great foods & great value with no extra costs of any kind. No Government tax and no service charge. This is the unique selling point of the restaurant. Even their menu told us to eat diet food only when we are waiting for steak =) *Noticed a lot of liquid paper marking on the menu, wonder they drop/increase the menu price* Saw the lamp which looks like lantern?
