VCR Cafe @ Jalan Galloway offering Coffee & Cakes

Image
VCR Cafe @ Jalan Galloway, Kuala Lumpur VCR is the cafe in black which located in the heart of KL city, in the old neighborhood of Pudu. They serve fresh coffee daily and that's the first thing you will smell once you step into the cafe. VCR cafe was a transformation from a building built in the 1940s, which is situated near the old Pudu Jail where most wardens used to stay in there (hence the name Galloway). With some modern twist to the old architecture, it has become a place that maintained the old school structure yet have the modern deco and design within (especially the light that has been photographed hundred thousand times) . Below are my takes to show you the interior of the VCR Cafe the #TCFishEye way.

Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2014: Street Photography with You #SCKLM2014

Image
Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2014 If you ask me to choose between running and swimming, I will definitely go for swimming because it is more comfortable and relaxing for me instead of panting for breath after a run haha. My lovely girlfriend love to run so I accompanied her to Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2014 the other day. Seriously, I find it difficult to wake up early in the morning at 5am just to go for a morning run. But well it is once a year to witness this huge KL marathon in the beautiful heart of Malaysia.  I was planning to take photos for girlfriend and friends at the finish line but in the end I think I took more street shoots and shoot something different this time (real excuse is because I didn't manage to spot them at the finish line hahaha)

Fish Eye view of PETRONAS Twin Towers #TCFishEye

Image
Asia was surprised when she saw herself with the whole PETRONAS Twin Towers =) Every time when I travel to Kuala Lumpur for event/work and have time to spend at Suria KLCC, I will definitely drop by the fountain area to capture this beautiful scenery. It was a super sunny day just like PETRONAS Demo Run 2014 the other day but this time it is different. I met a backpacker from Poland and her name is 'Asia'. Yeap, 'Asia'. What a great name and reason to travel to Malaysia for her ;p So long story short, Asia asked if I can help her take a photo of her with Malaysia's tallest building - PETRONAS Twin Towers. I took a few shoot with her compact cam and think that maybe I can help her remember KL better if I capture some photos with my #TCFisheye instead. Of course, she was more than happy for it and I hope I've did a great job for her by capturing her precious moments here. Check out my photos below~
