Ever heard of 4FINGERS Crispy Chicken? Well, if you haven't, this new delicious Korean style chicken wings has come to Malaysia! First branch in Malaysia has now opened at Mid Valley Megamall. I've heard the hype about this new Crispy Chicken in Singapore where people been queuing up for it. 

Well, good news for Malaysian as you have ample space to dine in instead of need to takeaway. If you want to 'dapao' they still have this nice paper box to wrap your chicken wings perfectly. I was invited to the launch event and get to be the first few to try out 4FINGERS. So thank you for the free flow of crispy chickens! *burp*

4FINGERS CRISPY CHICKEN - Best kept secret in Town

'4FINGERS' represents four friends who have dedicated themselves to the world of wining and dining. Together they founded 4FINGERS Crispy Chicken, brought in the Korean fried chicken to the sunny shores of Singapore and South-East Asia.

From what I've read, 4FINGERS Crispy Chicken's logo and restaurant interior design is based on the combination of New York Subway, graffitis and directional signs. That explained the warning (black and yellow) ribbons during the open ceremony and how the logos turn out as part of the interior of the 4Fingers Crispy Chicken branch in Mid Valley Megamall.

Here's a little view of 4FINGERS Crispy Chicken @ Mid Valley Megamall dining area, as you can see there's plenty of seats for you to dine in and I highly suggest you to have your crispy chicken while it is hot. Or else, remember to use the oven to reheat and get back the crispy texture and taste. Feel marfan? Then just eat in the restaurant haha.

Wait for your pager to vibrate and blink and you know your crispy chickens are ready

It is self-service at 4FINGERS Crispy Chicken so do queue up for making order while having your friends to help you find a seat. After order, just wait for your pager to ring and you may collect your food at the pick-up point. Just like when you order Snowflake last time with the UFO pager.

Tempted to order the Party Packs the other day - RM199.90 for 40 drumsticks or other choices

I forgot to take a picture of the menu but the price for 4FINGERS Crispy Chicken @ Mid Valley Megamall starting from RM16 and above. If you've tasted and like Korean Style Fried Chicken, you may wanna try this out and let me know what do you think.

4FINGERS Crispy Chicken comes in two flavors - 'Soy Garlic' and 'Hot and Spicy'

During our visit, it was a launching party hence the restaurant was really crowded and of course they were overwhelmed with all kinds of order as well. We waited for quite some time before we are able to stick our fingers to the hot and spicy drumettes/drumsticks.

4FINGERS guarantees to offer the best crispy chicken ever, fuelled by praise worthy ravings. This humble fast food offering two tasty sauces - 'soy garlic' and  'hot and spicy'- these wings are definitely a step up from regular chicken, it is more crispy if compared to normal fried chicken. Most importantly, the sauce are hand-painted individually on each crispy chicken.

4FINGERS Crispy Chicken - Drumsticks would be my recommended food to go for

"With the unique cooking process that renders out the fat in the skin, every piece if chicken is transformed into hot, crispy morsels with a thin, crackly crust. It is definitely crunchy, flavor-packed chicken that is extremely addictive."

I like the 'Hot and Spicy' flavor because it is something additional on top of 'Soy Garlic'. I am not sure if it was just only me, but the Soy Garlic flavored wings and drumettes does tasted overly flavor-packed during the launch and I would need to extra water to dilute the salty taste.

Since your chickens will be individually painted with your preferred sauce, you might want to request for less dressing or perhaps put it at the side so you can dip it if you feel it doesn't taste good enough.

Other than wings, drumettes and drumsticks, we also ordered B.F.F. (Chicken Burger), Chicken Katsu Sandwich, Chicken Chop, Crispy Calamari, Battered Shrimps, and some fries with Seaweed/Kimchi sprinkle.

To reduce your guilty feel of having these delicious fast food, just order Bottled Water instead of soda/ soft drinks =)

I personally like to eat seafood and that's why I like the Crispy Calamari when compared with Battered Shrimp. My only complain was that the portion for Calamari was not big enough (maybe just not up to my expectation) haha.

As for the Chicken Katsu Sandwich, it does taste good when you chew on the crispy buns together with KimChi flavoured mini-meat chunk inside.

Go 'ajak' a bunch of friends to eat and share the food together because that's one of the best way to enjoy 4FINGERS Crispy Chicken. With that way, you will able to try out variety of food being offered at here.

According to them, the proprietary sauces are free of MSG and preservatives. Best news? 4FINGERS uses only fresh ingredients from reputable suppliers that are HACCP certified.

PS: I am still wondering if there is a space between "4" and "FINGERS". I personally think that these two words should stick together. Like '4FINGERS CRISPY CHICKEN' instead of '4 FINGERS CRISPY CHICKEN'. (but the billboard show the other way round)  

So apparently they had a rebranding approach on the name and it is now '4FINGERS Crispy Chicken'. With caps on fingers and no space between two words. Now I like the name even more. =)
