GSC 100PLUS Treasure Hunt. I'm Joining~!

Are you a regular movie-goer and know your movies at your finger tips? Have you ever been to a Treasure hunt or are you keen to explore the intricacies of Treasure Hunting? If yes, then read on.

Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) will be organizing a motor Treasure Hunt this October 2nd to raise funds for Hospis Malaysia as part of their involvement with the community and has roped in 100PLUS as their title sponsor.

The leading cinema operator aims to raise at least RM50,000 through the GSC 100PLUS Treasure hunt with a minimum pledge of RM20,000 from GSC and the support of title sponsors, 100PLUS. Amongst the corporate companies that has also pledged their support for this CSR activity are Eon Bank, United Carpets, Sine Classics, Lee Choon Engineering, Macau Government Tourist Office and other sponsors.

The funds collected via the Treasure Hunt will support Hospis Malaysia, an organization that offers Palliative Care to patients suffering from life limiting illness which may be anything from cancer, AIDS, motor neurone disease, etc. The service is free of charge and is very much dependant on the public and corporate companies’ donations and contributions. Hospis Malaysia’s service lies in its philosophy which is to offer professional Palliative Care that effectively addresses the various needs of patients and families, and in the process, ensures comfort and dignity for those living with the illness, as well as the best quality of life for them and those around them. Hospis Malaysia also offers homecare programmes whereby their doctors and nurses take turn to call and administer palliative medicine and care in patient’s homes. They also operate a day care centre for patient’s use and also loans out medical equipment, beds and wheelchairs to registered patients.
